So I stumbled across MCKızılsaray Apart during one of those late-night booking sessions when everything decent in Antalya seemed either booked solid or crazy expensive. Honestly? Best accidental find I’ve made in ages. This little aparthotel sits tucked away on 6 Nolu Sokak in the Ermenek neighborhood – and I mean really tucked away, which turned out to be exactly what I needed after dealing with the tourist madness closer to the old town.

The thing about this place is it actually feels like staying in a residential area where real people live, you know? You’ll hear kids playing in the courtyard next door in the evenings, and there’s this tiny bakery just around the corner where the guy behind the counter remembers your usual order by day three. The apartments themselves are nothing fancy – we’re talking solid 3-star territory here – but they’re spacious enough that you’re not tripping over your suitcase every time you turn around. The kitchenette actually works (I made terrible Turkish coffee attempts for a week), and the Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every five minutes like some places I could mention. What really sold me was how quiet it gets at night. I mean, you’re still in a city, but something about being slightly off the main drag means you can actually sleep without earplugs.

The staff runs a pretty relaxed operation here – check-in was this wonderfully unhurried affair where the guy at the desk actually gave me hand-drawn directions to his favorite döner place instead of just pointing vaguely toward “the city center.” It’s got that 7.7 rating for a reason, I think – not because it’s trying to be something it’s not, but because it does the basics really well without any pretense. The location works especially if you’re planning to explore beyond just the touristy bits. You’re close enough to catch dolmuş rides into Kaleiçi when you want that postcard scenery, but far enough out that you get a genuine feel for how the city actually breathes. Parking was never an issue (which, if you’ve tried to park near Hadrian’s Gate in summer, you’ll appreciate), and I loved that evening walk back from dinner when the neighborhood settles into that perfect Mediterranean rhythm. Look, it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury amenities, but if you want a comfortable base that feels more like borrowing a friend’s place than staying in a hotel, MCKızılsaray Apart hits that sweet spot perfectly.

  Locatia foarte buna, propietarul amabil, ne-a permis sa lasam bagajele 2 ore dupa check out in apartament, asternuturile curate si paturile confortabile.
  
  What could be improved: Era aproape imposibil sa faci dus, aveai optiunea fierbinte sau rece pentru ca avea un aparat de incalzit apa instant la dus, in rest apa rece. Pretul a fost bun dar atat merita.

  Een heerlijk ruim appartement met goede airconditioning in de woonkamer en de slaapkamers.
  Ruime keuken met alles wat je nodig hebt.
  De host was erg vriendelijk en sprak goed Engels, dat maakte de communicatie erg gemakkelijk.
  Absoluut een aanrader!
  
  What could be improved: De waterdruk in de douche is wat laag. De host vertelde dat dit door de gemeente komt en de hij hier geen invloed op heeft. Geen groot probleem hoor, je kunt wel gewoon douchen.
