I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Meyde Boutique Suites on that quiet side street in Gursu, I wasn’t expecting much. You know how it is with these smaller places tucked away from the main Konyaaltı strip. But honestly? This turned out to be one of those pleasant surprises that makes you feel a bit smug about finding a hidden gem.

The location is actually perfect if you’re the type who wants to be near everything without being in the thick of tourist chaos. You’re maybe a 10-minute walk from Konyaaltı Beach – and I mean the good part where locals hang out, not just the crowded hotel zones. The neighborhood itself feels genuinely Turkish, with that little bakery on the corner (grab their börek in the morning, trust me) and the elderly guys playing backgammon at the tea house down 306 Street. The staff clearly takes pride in the place, which you notice in small ways – like how they actually remember your name after day one, or the way they’ll quietly swap out towels without you having to ask.

What really sold me on this place was the attention to detail that you don’t usually get at a 4-star property. The suites – and they’re proper suites, not just rooms with a sitting area shoved in – have this clean, modern vibe without feeling sterile. The beds are actually comfortable (I’m picky about this), and the bathrooms have decent water pressure, which honestly can be hit or miss in this part of Turkey. The soundproofing is surprisingly good too; even though you’re in the city, you won’t hear traffic all night. There’s something about the way they’ve designed the common areas that makes the whole place feel more intimate than its size would suggest. I spent a fair bit of time on their terrace area in the evenings – you can actually see glimpses of the Mediterranean if you crane your neck, and there’s usually a nice breeze coming off the water. The breakfast spread won’t blow your mind, but it hits all the right notes with local touches alongside the standard stuff. What I really appreciated was how they handled the practical things smoothly – check-in was painless, they sorted out a taxi to the old town without any fuss, and when I needed to extend my stay (which, let’s face it, happens when you’re enjoying a place), they made it work without drama. The 8.1 rating feels about right – it’s not going to revolutionize your life, but it absolutely delivers on what it promises, and sometimes that’s exactly what you want.

  I stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks and I would like to note that all the amenities for a comfortable life are present, the room is spacious and the staff is mostly responsive, sometimes there were some issues with water and with the serviceability of the equipment, but all of them were successfully resolved, I especially want to thank the administrator Guray, this person always helped and went to the meeting, I sincerely thank you and shake your hand 🤝

  2. perhaps the man at the reseption from time to time could pro-actively notice that the cleint wants to ask something if he/she is coming by. Anyway , he was helpful , whenever he was asked.

  Needed a room for one night and they were ready for me. Hotel has elevator which helped in taking luggage. Room was clean and good. The staff member there was very helpful and coordinated with us and helped us with showing us the nearest restaurant, with our luggage and other stuff. Although the person there at night did not speak English but stil was very helpful.

  I liked eveything.location ,family room size.
  But the real special diffierenece is the Fatma whom was very professional in supportive and smily all the time.Fatma is the receptionist and is always doing her best to support everyone.
