You know what? The Nasa Flora Hotel totally caught me off guard – and I mean that in the best way possible. When I first pulled up to this little 2-star spot on Lara Caddesi, honestly, I wasn’t expecting much. It’s tucked into the Sirin Yali neighborhood, which most tourists completely miss because they’re all rushing toward the flashier Lara Beach resorts further down the coast. But that’s actually what makes this place kind of special.

The thing about staying here is you’re literally walking distance from the real Antalya – I’m talking about the morning markets where locals buy their produce, the tiny çay houses where old men play backgammon until way too late, and those family-run pide places that don’t even have English menus. The hotel itself is pretty straightforward (it’s a 2-star, so don’t expect marble lobbies), but the staff genuinely seems to care. I mean, the guy at reception – I think his name was Mehmet – actually drew me a little map showing the best route to avoid the crazy traffic on Akdeniz Boulevard when I wanted to get to Kaleiçi. You don’t get that kind of personal touch at the big chains.

What really sold me on the Nasa Flora was how quiet it gets at night, which is honestly rare in this part of Antalya. Sure, you’ll hear the occasional dolmuş rumbling by on Lara Cad, but it’s nothing like the non-stop party noise you get closer to the main tourist strip. The rooms are clean – nothing fancy, but the air conditioning actually works (crucial in summer), and the beds are surprisingly comfortable. I stayed there during shoulder season in late April, and while the small pool area was pretty basic, it was perfect for cooling off after walking around the city all day. The breakfast is typical Turkish hotel fare – lots of fresh bread, cheese, olives, and that strong tea that somehow tastes better when you’re on vacation.

Here’s the thing though – if you’re looking for Instagram-worthy amenities or a concierge who speaks perfect English, this probably isn’t your spot. But if you want to stay somewhere that feels authentically Turkish without breaking the bank, and you don’t mind being a 15-minute dolmuş ride from the main tourist areas, the Nasa Flora is actually a pretty solid choice. Plus, being on the edge of Lara means you can easily catch public transport to everywhere – the old town, the waterfall at Düden, even out to the airport. I’d definitely stay there again, especially since you’re getting honest value for what you pay, and in a city where tourist prices can get pretty ridiculous, that’s worth something.

  The room was a good size with a hot shower and a balcony with a view over the whole of Antalya bay. Everything worked as it should and it was quiet at night so I slept well.
  Breakfast buffet was excellent with a good choice and a lovely open, sunny area to eat in. Check in was quick and friendly and I was even shown to my room personally, which is a nice touch.
  There's a small swimming pool at the rear which looks great for warmer seasons.
  It's a 10 minute walk to the main bus routes into the centre, or a pleasant sea front walk of around 45 minutes to the Old Town and Marina area.

  Very comfy bed, excellent AC, friendly older gentlemen working there, very quick walk to the sea

  No proper coffee (it was instant and I'm a coffee snob).
  Hearing the traffic, but with good AC I kept the windows closed so not really a problem

  Comfortable, simple accommodation. Breakfast was great: fresh, varied, generously stocked even though we were just a few guests. The staff were exceptional— friendly, helpful, and the location is close to parks, sea, restaurants. It was further from the old city than I had realized. My room was fine for a solo traveler, though I think it would feel cramped for a couple. Great value for money.

  Great value for money! I liked the fact that it was very peaceful. We were a group of 10 and had the entire floor to ourselves. Staff were very accommodating despite speaking little English. They didn't brush us off but used Google translate to ensure our needs were met.
  
  What could be improved: Stay away from the shuttle service to the beach. Get a taxi or walk instead.

  Location is good, small swimming pool nice and clean, decent hotel. Breakfast average .Staff polite and friendly.

  What could be improved: Update the pictures of the hotel. I basically was on the business short trip.
  Breakfast can improve, would be worth having nice fresh coffee, rather than Ness cafe.

  The hotel overall was a very good base to explore antalya,the room was small but clean and was everything we needed for a weeks holiday,the sea view was a lovely sight every morning and at breakfast we always had something to eat which set us up for our day ahead,thanks to the manager who helped us with a later checkout which we gratefully appreciated and would recommend a stay at the nasa flora otel

  The location was very good and close to lots of things like the platform beaches there were 3 close by and also close to restaurants and shops as well as being close to two shopping malls. The hotel has a cute swimming pool which was nice . They also can organise trips and we asked to go to Pammukale hot springs and they organised that and made sure our breakfast was packed for us as the tour operator was collecting us 5.30 . Overall really nice experience .
