You know what struck me first about Necip Bey Elegant Villa? The name’s not just marketing fluff – there’s actually something genuinely elegant about this little three-star tucked away on Fırın Sokak. I mean, you’re literally walking on cobblestones that have been here longer than most countries have existed, and this place somehow manages to feel both historical and comfortable without trying too hard.

The location is honestly perfect if you want to experience Kaleiçi the way it’s meant to be experienced. Fırın Sokak translates to “Bakery Street” – and there’s still a traditional bakery just around the corner where locals grab their morning simit. You’re maybe a three-minute walk from Hadrian’s Gate, but here’s the thing most people don’t realize: you’re positioned just far enough from the main tourist drag that you won’t have groups of cruise ship passengers marching past your window at 7 AM. The narrow streets actually work in your favor here because tour buses can’t get close, so it stays relatively peaceful even during high season.

What I really appreciated was how the staff seemed to understand that travelers want insider knowledge, not just polite service. The guy at reception (I think his name was Mehmet) actually drew me a little map showing which restaurants the locals eat at versus the tourist traps – saved me probably fifty bucks and definitely some disappointing meals. The rooms themselves are well… they’re three-star rooms, so don’t expect marble bathrooms or anything fancy, but everything works and it’s clean. The AC was surprisingly good for an older building, which matters when you’re dealing with Antalya summers. Some rooms have these little balconies where you can sit with Turkish tea and watch the neighborhood cats navigate the rooftops – sounds cheesy, but it’s actually pretty charming.

The 7.5 rating makes sense to me. It’s not luxury, but it delivers exactly what it promises without any unpleasant surprises. Parking is basically impossible right at the hotel (welcome to old town life), but there’s a public lot about a five-minute walk away, and honestly, once you’re settled in Kaleiçi, you won’t need your car anyway. Everything worth seeing is walkable, and the marina with all its restaurants is literally right there. I stayed during shoulder season in October and found it perfectly quiet at night, though I imagine summer might be livelier with all the nearby cafes staying open later. If you’re looking for a base to explore the old town without paying resort prices, and you don’t mind stairs (there are always stairs in these historic places), Necip Bey Elegant Villa does the job really well.

Беше ни взет депозит, без това да е описано в условията за настаняване. Заявеният от нас час на освобождаване на къщата не беше одобрен от собственика, той ни посочи кога ще можем да си тръгнем. Пълно разочарование!

  This place is really convenient. It had 3 bedrooms and 2 toilets and bathrooms (perfect for a group of friends) 150 meters to the private marble beach, markets and restaurants are just a few steps away. It has special towels and a barbecue (we didn't do it) everything is in one place. The pool and other areas are only 100 meters away. So I definitely recommend it

  We spent the last night of our several-night adventure in Oldtown here. We ended this beautiful tour with an accommodation worthy of our beautiful memories. They offered us a comfortable accommodation with their central location and proximity to everywhere. We'll definitely come back.

  My family and I decided to stay at this villa on our trip to the old Kaleiçi. its ideal location—quite calm and just 50 meters from eateries and pubs. Our infant slept soundly because there isn't any noise in the vicinity. Regretfully, due to the winter season, the pool is closed; however, the hotel, where the pool is situated, is only a short distance away and boasts an amazing garden. We sat there for a while. We were served tea and coffee by our host, Sedat. extremely kind and considerate . Without a doubt, we'll return and heartily endorse
