Necip Bey Konağı Overview
First Impressions
Walking through the narrow cobblestone streets of Kaleici, you’ll stumble upon Necip Bey Konağı tucked away on Hesapçı Sokak — and honestly, the entrance alone tells you this four-star boutique hotel gets it right. The restored Ottoman mansion feels like stepping into someone’s carefully preserved family home, complete with traditional stonework and wooden details that haven’t been overdone for tourists. You know what strikes you first? It’s how quiet everything becomes once you’re inside, despite being right in the heart of Antalya’s old town.
Location & Neighborhood
I mean, you really can’t ask for a better spot in Antalya. Kaleici is where couples especially seem to fall in love with the city — there’s something about wandering these ancient streets that just works for romantic getaways. The hotel sits perfectly positioned so you can walk to Hadrian’s Gate in about three minutes, and the old harbor with its waterfront restaurants is maybe a five-minute stroll downhill. What’s brilliant is that you’re close enough to everything that matters, but Hesapçı Sokak itself stays relatively peaceful compared to the main tourist drags.
The Rooms
The rooms here strike that sweet spot between authentic character and modern comfort — no small feat in a historic building like this. Each one feels different (this isn’t your cookie-cutter hotel chain), with original architectural details like arched doorways and traditional Turkish tiles mixed with updated bathrooms and reliable air conditioning. The beds are actually comfortable, which isn’t always a given in boutique properties, and the windows often look out onto either the internal courtyard or glimpses of the old town’s rooftops.
Breakfast & Dining
Breakfast at Necip Bey Konağı covers all the bases — they’ve got the full English spread if that’s your thing, plus American options and halal choices that cater to different dietary needs. What I particularly appreciate is their breakfast-to-go option, perfect for those early morning excursions to nearby attractions like Düden Waterfalls or if you’re catching a boat trip along the coast. The courtyard setting makes morning coffee feel special, surrounded by traditional architecture while you plan your day exploring Antalya’s mix of Roman ruins and Mediterranean beaches.
Why Guests Love It
This place works because it doesn’t try too hard — it’s just a well-run, authentic hotel in an unbeatable location. The staff clearly knows the neighborhood and can point you toward the less obvious gems, like which rooftop bars have the best sunset views or where locals actually eat. Couples consistently rave about the romantic atmosphere, and honestly, it’s easy to see why when you’re sipping wine in a centuries-old courtyard as the evening call to prayer echoes across the old town. It’s that perfect balance of history, comfort, and genuine Turkish hospitality that makes you want to extend your stay.
Antalya hotels keep guests close to Duden Waterfalls excursions, yacht charters, and Taurus Mountain jeep safaris.

Wonderful hotel in the centre of the old city. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We arrived from the airport at 8 a.m., it was a difficult flight, we wanted to leave our luggage and walk around the city, but we were too tired, we had no strength to go somewhere. The employee placed us in the room and did not even charge an additional fee for early check-in. It was very nice! I would also like to note the very tasty breakfasts, cleanliness on the territory of the hotel and daily cleaning of rooms, including linen and towels if necessary.
The hotel is located in the centre of the promenade next to the mosque. Keep in mind that it can be noisy. It didn't prevent us from having a great rest.
I recommend this hotel!Nadezda from Cyprus – 18 August 2024 (9/10)

The place itself is very well located , right in the heart of old Town of Antalya. The room was cute and clean. The place is very lively. If you're vegetarian or vegan , don't expect any food to be served . We ate stale hard bread for the whole of our stay and apparently restaurant doesn't serve vegetarian food. (Or so I was told)
