Sometimes the unassuming spots surprise you. This little hotel sits tucked away in a quieter residential area, which actually turned out to be one of its biggest advantages. You’re not dealing with the tourist chaos of Kaleiçi or the beach strip hotels, but you’re still close enough to everything that matters.

The thing about staying in Elmalı is that you get a real feel for how locals live – there’s this great little bakery just two streets over where the simit is absolutely perfect in the mornings (the owner, Mehmet, will remember your order after day two), and honestly, the whole vibe is just more relaxed than the main tourist zones. The hotel itself has that slightly worn-in comfort that I actually prefer over sterile chain places. Sure, the carpet in the hallways has seen better days, and the elevator makes this quirky humming sound, but the rooms are clean and the AC works properly – which, let me tell you, is crucial during Antalya’s summer months. I stayed there in late June and never felt uncomfortably warm.

What really won me over was the staff’s genuine helpfulness. The front desk guy (I think his name was Emre?) actually drew me a hand-sketched map showing the best route to Hadrian’s Gate that avoided the crowded main streets. That’s the kind of local knowledge you just don’t get at bigger hotels. The breakfast spread is pretty standard Turkish hotel fare – nothing fancy, but the menemen was solid and the tea was always hot. One small thing that bugged me was the Wi-Fi getting spotty on the upper floors, especially in the evenings when everyone’s online. But honestly, for a quick three or four-night stay while you’re exploring the old town and hitting the beaches, it’s perfectly adequate. The location means you can walk to Antalya Museum in about fifteen minutes, and there’s decent parking on the street if you’ve rented a car. I mean, it’s not going to win any design awards with that 7.1 rating, but sometimes you just want a clean, comfortable base without paying resort prices – and that’s exactly what Nest Hotel delivers.

  Everything about the hotel and staff!
  
  All the staff were exceptionally good and we felt like a family in such a short period of time. It was a very comfortable stay and we could enjoy Antalya really well with their advice. They even let us use some of their facilities which were not on the list initially. To be completely honest, we felt at home and my wife and I were sad leaving everything behind. Highly recommended!

  We did like the staff there , they were really helpful, but the property itself was just bad luck. The room was dark and quite old. We couldn’t close the door because of the bed. The towels were old , so we even didn’t use it. The bathroom also had some bad smell. The facility in total was bad
