Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places in Antalya’s old town, and honestly? Old Town Deluxe Flats gets it right in ways that surprised me. The location on Tabakhane Sokak is actually perfect – you’re deep enough in Kaleiçi to feel like you’re living in the old city, but not so buried that you can’t find your way back after a night out. I mean, some of these narrow streets all start looking the same after dark, you know?

What really struck me first was how quiet it is, especially considering you’re basically in the heart of everything. The old stone walls do this amazing job of blocking out the noise from the main tourist drag, but you can still hear the call to prayer from the nearby mosques drifting over in the morning – honestly, it’s kind of magical. The flats themselves feel authentically Turkish without being overly rustic, if that makes sense. There’s this lovely courtyard area where you’ll probably end up having your morning coffee, and the staff… well, they actually know the neighborhood. Like, they’ll tell you which hamam is worth your time (skip the touristy ones near Hadrian’s Gate) and where to get the best döner that’s not marked up for visitors.

The rooms are spacious – I’m talking proper living space, not just a bed crammed between walls. You get a real sense of how people actually live in these old Ottoman houses, with high ceilings and these gorgeous original details they’ve preserved. The modern touches are done thoughtfully too; the Wi-Fi actually works, the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a helicopter, and there’s proper hot water pressure. Parking can be tricky since you’re in the pedestrian zone, but they’ll sort you out with a spot nearby – just don’t expect to pull right up to the door. The walk from Kaleiçi Marina takes maybe five minutes, and you’ll pass some of the best little antique shops and carpet places along the way. During peak summer it gets busy around here, but even then, once you duck into that courtyard, it feels like your own little retreat. That 9.1 rating? Yeah, I get it completely.

  Everything! Couldn't think of a better place to stay in Antalya. It's close to everything that's going on in the Old Town. Semih provided great service as well.

  Just as in photos and even better! Clean, cosy, excellent location, silent on Sunday night, 10 minutes walk from the tram to the airport, and just next to the city Park and the Sunset promenade. Air conditioners in every room.

  The location is perfect for the travellers who want to stay in the city centre, the flat is big with 2 balconies.
  
  I didn't like that the kettle was dirty, brown from the tea (dishwasher is needed), the sofa was not very fresh and the water in the shower didn't drain well.

  Location is perfect.
  Staff is really nice, Semih is helpful and friendly, the cleaning lady is sweet.
  Semih organized a comfortable airport transfer for a reasonable price.
  
  What could be improved: Flashing light of the alarm system in bedroom is REALLY annoying, especially it angers when you are trying to fall asleep. Please put a sticker on that tiny flickering light to darken it 🙂
