You know what caught me off guard about Oniks Comfort Suites? It’s actually tucked away on this quiet side street – 2209. Sokak – which means you’re not dealing with the constant buzz of traffic that hits a lot of Antalya hotels, but you’re still close enough to everything that matters. I mean, when I first walked up to the place, it had this solid, no-nonsense vibe that immediately felt more authentic than some of the flashier spots I’d stayed at before. The lobby has this warm, lived-in quality – not trying too hard to impress, but genuinely comfortable in a way that makes you want to actually hang out there with a coffee.

The rooms themselves are honestly bigger than I expected for a 4-star place, and here’s something I really appreciated – the air conditioning actually works properly (you’d be surprised how many Turkish hotels get this wrong). The bathrooms have good water pressure, which is crucial when you’ve been walking around Antalya’s old town all day in the heat. What really sold me though was how quiet it gets at night. Even with the windows open, you’re not getting hammered by scooters and late-night revelers like you would closer to the main drag. The staff – and this is important – they actually know the neighborhood. When I asked about getting to Hadrian’s Gate without taking the tourist route, the guy at reception gave me this perfect walking path that cuts through some residential streets I never would have found on my own.

Location-wise, you’re in this sweet spot where you can walk to the old town (Kaleiçi) in about fifteen minutes, but you’re far enough out that you’re not paying old town prices for everything. There’s a proper Turkish breakfast place just two blocks over that locals actually use – not some tourist trap – and honestly, that’s worth the stay alone. The hotel’s own breakfast is solid too, nothing fancy but they do a proper menemen and the coffee doesn’t taste like it’s been sitting around since yesterday. One thing to note though – if you’re coming during summer, book early because word’s getting out about this place. It’s got that 8.4 rating for good reason, and I suspect it won’t stay this reasonably priced forever. The whole experience just feels… right, you know? Like staying with friends who happen to run a really well-organized hotel.

  The room was spacious enough for 2 people without feeling crowded. There were markets and restaurants nearby within walking distance. The pool was great, and the staff was informative and friendly.
  
  What could be improved: The bed. It was quite creaky for me as a light sleeper, and I was awakened by the creaking sounds each time I adjusted my sleep position overnight. Plus, the laundry situation. It seems like there should be a better system to do laundry versus stalking machines all day. There were also noticeable puddles of water in the laundry room that I almost slipped on.

  I had the most wonderful stay at the Oniks Hotel with my family! Our room was in a beautiful, new and cozy building. There was even a small kitchen where we could cook our own meals, which was great for saving money. We also had a balcony where we could have some fresh air and dry the beach towels.
  
  The location of the hotel was perfect for us: it was near the airport, so it was convenient when we arrived and departed. But it was still not too far from the famous Lara Beach and close to shops, currency exchange and cafes.
  
  The host of the hotel was amazing. They were so kind and helpful, especially when it came to accommodating our children. They made sure our little ones were comfortable and happy during our stay. We truly felt cared for and welcomed. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a lovely place to stay with their family.

  The location, the staff Mohammed, Steve and Arkan. Really great apartment. Close to the airport, either by taxi or by bus ( bus 800 ;)) you can also get a bus straight into the old city a few steps away from the apartment.

  The hotel is brand new, very clean and has a lovely pool. Staff were very nice and could be reached 24 hours a day. The internet was very fast and they had routers in all rooms for easy connectivity. A very nice hotel all round and excellent value for money.
