Optimum Luxury Hotel&Spa Overview
You know what struck me first about Optimum Luxury Hotel&Spa? It’s tucked away on this quiet side street in Güzeloba, and honestly, you’d walk right past it if you weren’t looking. But that’s actually part of its charm – it feels like stumbling onto a secret that the tourist crowds haven’t discovered yet.
The whole place has this intimate boutique vibe that’s pretty refreshing after seeing so many cookie-cutter resort complexes along the Antalya coast. I mean, they don’t have an official star rating, which initially made me a bit nervous (you never know what you’re getting into), but it turns out they’re just doing their own thing. The spa area is genuinely impressive – not huge, but thoughtfully designed with this Turkish bath setup that feels authentic rather than touristy. The treatment rooms have these little details, like locally-sourced oils and that particular eucalyptus scent that somehow makes everything feel more luxurious than it probably should.
What I really appreciated was how the staff actually seemed to know the neighborhood. When I asked about getting to Lara Beach without dealing with the main highway traffic, the front desk guy gave me this back-route tip that saved me twenty minutes each way. The rooms themselves are… well, they’re solid. Nothing that’ll blow your mind, but comfortable beds, decent water pressure, and mercifully quiet air conditioning. The decor leans a bit heavy on the gold accents for my taste, but it’s clearly intentional rather than tacky. Parking was surprisingly easy too – they’ve got this small lot that’s usually fine unless you’re there during Turkish holiday weekends, when Güzeloba gets packed with domestic tourists.
I’d say the 7.5 rating feels about right, honestly. It’s not going to compete with those massive five-star resorts down by Konyaaltı Beach, but it doesn’t try to. Instead, you get this more personal experience where the manager actually remembers your name by day two, and the breakfast cook will adjust the menemen spice level once she figures out what you like. The location works really well if you want to feel like you’re staying somewhere with character – you’re close enough to walk to some excellent local restaurants (there’s this family-run place serving incredible pide just two blocks over), but far enough from the main tourist strip that you can actually sleep at night. Just keep in mind that it’s not beachfront, so you’ll need to factor in a short drive or bus ride if you’re planning to spend your days on the sand.

Tracy from United Kingdom – 12 November 2024 (8/10)
the hotel was clean, the food was OK and the staff were very nice and helpful.
there is a lovely little area to eat from different restaurants across from the corner shop.
you have to bring your own drinks into the hotel so it works out much cheaper.
the pool area was quiet.
What could be improved: my room was on the flight path – but I soon got used to the noise and it didn't bother me.
many of the sunbeds were broken – but still useable.Bindon from United Kingdom – 7 September 2024 (8/10)
Rooms clean and large staff always helpful
What could be improved: Flight path of airplanes,no alcohol sold on premisesJoanna from United Kingdom – 12 August 2024 (9/10)
Beautiful, spacious rooms,
Nice breakfast
Lovely spa- one of the best massages I ever had
What could be improved: The hotel is directly under the very busy plane route, and some people may find this a major inconvenience. However, this is beyond hotel's control.
Staff are not friendly which I am not quite used to in hotels and I think this needs tobbe improved. I would expect better from a 4 star hotel. I am not really bothered so I still rate the hotel high, but the receptionist nit very welcoming, check in was also not the most pleasant. Restaurant girls looking very miserable, not even bothered to say good morning or smile in the morning. One of the SPA receptionists kind and friendly, the other, not very much so. I don't remember names, but it is obvious if anyone goes there.Jon from United Kingdom – 3 August 2024 (8/10)
I stayed 7 nights its bed and breakfast but they do a fantastic menu any time after 10 am

This facility was so clean and cosy, the staff were very helpful and friendly.
I really enjoyed the spa. Can't comment much on the food as iam a very fussy eater but the fruits at breakfast were so fresh and tasty. And the filter coffee was a 10/0
A few minutes walk to duden park and the spectacular duden falls, migros supermarket, cash point and pharmacy all within walking distance.
Free Shuttle available to hotels private beach daily.
What could be improved: It can get abit noisy with the aeroplanes. However it is very beautiful to watchEleanor from United Kingdom – 8 July 2024 (9/10)
The staff were absolutely lovely 10/10. I also thought the room itself and the design etc were really lovely, I was a biggg fan of the room. Also great facilities with the spa and pool, really lovely altogether. Also the hotel is pretty close to the bus stop so it’s a good location in terms of connectivity. Lovely furniture on the balcony too, sometimes I find that it can be quite gross from being outside all the time but it was really lovely and the whole apartment felt very clean (aside from the towel comment on the negatives)
What could be improved: I would say it is right on a flight path so you do get a LOT of plane noise and it is very loud because it’s right on the path of where the planes begin to land. My room was also only ready an hour after check in which was a bit of a shame, I also had a dirty towel and wander if they rushed the clean because I had shown up while they were cleaning it out still. I’d also say be careful of the little ledge as you go in to the bathroom because I tripped on it almost every time I tried to go in. I think the minis were quite old because there were bits at the bottom as if flakes of the container had come off, idk how to explain but it wasn’t bothersome, just something I noticed. Lastly, if I had prepared more I wouldn’t stay on that area of Antalya personally, especially as my trip was short but that’s only worth noting about this hotel if you’re not sure on the area you want to stay in.Karen from Curaçao – 2 July 2024 (9/10)
I loved my room and the balcony with the view. The spa was also very nice.
What could be improved: The breakfast was really bad and the manager is not a nice person. Another problem is that it was not replenished regularly. The males working in the hotel need a course on being helpful respectful and better manners.Carli from United Kingdom – 24 February 2024 (9/10)

Every thing was more than good. The property and the persons who works there . The lobby persons was helpfull.except one thing(see upp).
What could be improved: There where too many cats at the property. İts like they took over the place. They come to you when you eat and climb the table to share with you. Another example when a cat took the elevator with me . The third example was when i took a massage there was a cat sitting on my back. İ like cats but there must be a limit for that not every where. Remember these cats are street cats.
