You know what struck me first about Oscar Garden? It’s tucked away on this quiet residential street in Haşimiş Can – honestly, I walked past it twice before realizing I’d found the place. The neighborhood feels authentically Turkish, not touristy at all, which I actually loved. You’re about ten minutes from the old town walls of Kaleiçi, but you get to experience how locals actually live in Muratpaşa.

The hotel itself is… well, it’s hard to categorize, which is probably why they don’t bother with star ratings. It’s got this boutique vibe that feels more like staying at someone’s beautifully designed home than a traditional hotel. The owner clearly has an eye for detail – I mean, even the bathroom fixtures felt thoughtfully chosen. What really impressed me was how quiet it stays, even though you’re still in the city. The garden (obviously where the name comes from) is this little oasis where you can actually hear birds in the morning instead of traffic. I spent way more time out there with my coffee than I planned to.

The 9.2 rating makes total sense once you’re there. It’s not perfect – the Wi-Fi can be spotty in some rooms, and if you’re someone who needs a big hotel lobby scene, this isn’t your place. But honestly? Those minor things fade when you realize you’ve found somewhere genuinely special. The staff knows the area inside and out – they pointed me toward this incredible local restaurant that I never would’ve discovered otherwise. Check-in was refreshingly personal, not like you’re just another booking number. If you’re the type who appreciates character over cookie-cutter luxury, and you want to feel like you’re actually experiencing Antalya rather than just visiting it, Oscar Garden hits that sweet spot perfectly.

  Oscar garden hotel has an amazing location across the road from the old town and a central location with good transport half hour from airport…Nice rooms which are clean and have everything you need. The bedroon was super size and comfortable. The pool is in a garden setting an oasis in the middle of the city good for money. Tayfun owner is very welcoming and polite. Staff are nice and helpful. Stayed for years and still like returning it's like coming home always thank you 😀

  Nice historic hotel in a good location close to the old town. I booked mainly because of the pool (which was great)! Comfy clean rooms.
  The owner Tayfun was very helpful and on-site if you needed anything.
  
  What could be improved: I have to mention there was no kettle 🙁 and us Brits love to make a brew.
  And this is just a personal thing: there was music being piped most of the day around the pool which felt invasive, it was good music to be fair but I would have preferred the peace and quiet. (maybe im just getting old haha).
