You know what’s funny about Perast City Hotel? The name makes you think it’s some grand establishment, but when you actually find it tucked away on this quiet side street in Gürsu, it’s more like discovering someone’s really well-designed home that they decided to share with travelers. I mean, there’s no official star rating because honestly, it doesn’t fit into those typical hotel boxes – and that’s exactly why it works so well.

The location is actually perfect if you know Antalya at all. You’re far enough from the tourist chaos around Kaleiçi that you can sleep without hearing drunk Germans singing at 3 AM (been there), but close enough that a quick dolmuş ride gets you anywhere you want to go. The neighborhood has that authentic Turkish residential feel – you’ll hear the morning call to prayer from the nearby mosque, smell fresh bread from the local bakery down the street, and see actual families going about their daily lives instead of just other tourists. Parking can be a bit tricky on the narrow streets, but the hotel staff will actually walk out and help you figure it out, which is more than I can say for most places.

What really got me was the attention to detail that you only notice after you’ve been there a day or two. The rooms have this boutique feel without being pretentious – good linens, proper water pressure in the shower, and windows that actually block out street noise when you need to sleep. The breakfast isn’t some massive buffet situation, but they’ll make you proper Turkish çay and fresh simit, and if you ask nicely, the owner’s wife might share some of her homemade reçel. The staff remembers your name after one night, which sounds small but makes such a difference when you’re dealing with the usual travel stress. I stayed there during shoulder season in late October, and it was quiet enough to work from the little terrace area they have, but I imagine summer might be busier. The 9.1 rating makes sense when you realize it’s not trying to be a resort – it’s just doing the fundamentals really, really well, with people who actually care about whether you have a good stay or not.

  Comfortable rest after long journey traveling, good healthy breakfast. Street parking is more then enough.
  
  What could be improved: The location is a bit inside into residential area. But for a short stay it is perfect.

  This is a great hotel.
  
  The hotel is at a 3 minutes walk from the beach sea front, close to restaurants small shops and even a Starbucks.
  The hotel is clean and cozy and the rooms look great.
  The stuff was welcoming and helpful.
  
  What could be improved: The only downside I would say is the breakfast, there are not many options and the most annoying thing is that you need to ask the bartender for any drinks you might want(and there is no menu that lists all the drink options). It would be great to have at least a coffee machine and a water dispenser the guests can use, without having to ask for each and every drink.

  Property is well maintained, the area is nice and quiet and close to the beach.
  
  What could be improved: Beds were too hard for my taste and pillows too small and also too hard. Unfortunately after two nights I could feel it in my back 🙁

  Excellent hotel for its price. Cozy, small. Very friendly staff, delicious breakfasts, clean and new bed linen.

  Stayed here in August 2024. Staff was wery kind and responsive. Speak Turkish, English and Russian who is older. Always ready to help. New rooms. Breakfast was great. 3-5 minutes from the beach one way, and going other way you will find bus station to city center. Good value for money.

  The Hotel is located in a square, with a lovely park and exercise equipment, so it’s ideal for families or someone that likes to exercise in the morning. On Sunday there is a big market that is less than a minute away.
  
  What could be improved: We couldn’t work the AC, but staff helped restore. The windows must be closed for AC to work.
