Perast City Hotel Overview

First Impressions

Walking into Perast City Hotel, you immediately get that feeling of stepping into something special — not flashy or over-the-top, but genuinely well-thought-out. This four-star property sits in Antalya’s Gürsu neighborhood, and honestly, the moment you arrive, you understand why guests keep rating it so highly. The lobby has this clean, modern Turkish aesthetic that feels both sophisticated and welcoming, and the staff actually seems happy to see you rather than just going through the motions.

Location & Neighborhood

Here’s what I love about where Perast City Hotel is positioned — you’re in a real part of Antalya, not some tourist bubble. The Gürsu area gives you that authentic Turkish city experience while still being incredibly accessible to everything you want to see. Couples absolutely rave about this location (they’ve rated it 9.5, which is pretty remarkable), and I get why. You can actually walk to local cafes and shops without fighting crowds, but you’re still close enough to the old town and coastline that nothing feels out of reach. Plus, having free private parking here is honestly a game-changer if you’re planning to explore the region by car.

The Rooms

The accommodations at Perast City Hotel strike that perfect balance between comfort and style that’s surprisingly hard to find. My room had this lovely blend of contemporary design with subtle Turkish touches — nothing too themed or kitschy, just tasteful nods to the local culture. The beds are genuinely comfortable (you know how hit-or-miss hotel beds can be), and the bathrooms are spacious with good water pressure. What I really appreciated were the little details: proper blackout curtains, enough outlets near the bed, and air conditioning that actually works quietly.

Breakfast Experience

The buffet breakfast here is one of those pleasant surprises that sets the tone for your entire day. It’s not just the usual continental spread — they’ve got a really nice selection of Turkish specialties alongside international options. Fresh bread, local cheeses, olives that actually taste like something, and they make proper Turkish tea and coffee. I mean, you’re not going to confuse it with a five-star resort spread, but it’s substantial and well-prepared. The dining area gets good morning light too, which somehow makes everything taste better.

Why Guests Love It

With a 9.1 overall rating, Perast City Hotel clearly does something right, and after staying there, it’s pretty obvious what that is. It’s the combination of being genuinely well-located (that 9.3 location score doesn’t lie), professionally run, and reasonably priced for what you get. You’re not paying for unnecessary frills, but everything that matters — cleanliness, comfort, service, location — is handled really well. The staff knows the area and can give you actual recommendations rather than just pointing you toward tourist traps. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re experiencing Antalya rather than just visiting it.

Locals recommend to book apartments in Antalya near the marina for leisurely mornings, sailing lessons, and seaside brunches.

Reviews of Perast City Hotel

  • Marina from United Kingdom – 31 May 2025 (9/10)

Comfortable rest after long journey traveling, good healthy breakfast. Street parking is more then enough.

What could be improved: The location is a bit inside into residential area. But for a short stay it is perfect.

  • Mirel from Romania – 2 May 2025 (9/10)

    This is a great hotel.

The hotel is at a 3 minutes walk from the beach sea front, close to restaurants small shops and even a Starbucks.
The hotel is clean and cozy and the rooms look great.
The stuff was welcoming and helpful.

What could be improved: The only downside I would say is the breakfast, there are not many options and the most annoying thing is that you need to ask the bartender for any drinks you might want(and there is no menu that lists all the drink options). It would be great to have at least a coffee machine and a water dispenser the guests can use, without having to ask for each and every drink.

  • Bettina from Germany – 27 April 2025 (8/10)

Property is well maintained, the area is nice and quiet and close to the beach.

What could be improved: Beds were too hard for my taste and pillows too small and also too hard. Unfortunately after two nights I could feel it in my back 🙁

  • Darya from Belarus – 22 April 2025 (9/10)

Excellent hotel for its price. Cozy, small. Very friendly staff, delicious breakfasts, clean and new bed linen.
5-7 minutes walk from the sea
Cleaning every day, also every day they bring 2 bottles of water

What could be improved: I was surprised that there was only cold water in the sink.

  • Olena from Ukraine – 6 March 2025 (9/10)

Everything was perfect, thanks a lot for staying in your hotel 🙂

  • Andrei from United Kingdom – 30 October 2024 (10/10)

Stayed here in August 2024. Staff was wery kind and responsive. Speak Turkish, English and Russian who is older. Always ready to help. New rooms. Breakfast was great. 3-5 minutes from the beach one way, and going other way you will find bus station to city center. Good value for money.

  • Seren from Australia – 28 September 2024 (10/10)

Staff were beyond amazing and very helpful!

  • Rajdeep from United Kingdom – 11 September 2024 (8/10)

overall I enjoyed my stay and would stay again

What could be improved: can not fault

  • Tracey from United Kingdom – 10 October 2023 (10/10)

The Hotel is located in a square, with a lovely park and exercise equipment, so it’s ideal for families or someone that likes to exercise in the morning. On Sunday there is a big market that is less than a minute away.

What could be improved: We couldn’t work the AC, but staff helped restore. The windows must be closed for AC to work.

  • Tatiana from Russia – 1 August 2023 (10/10)

Perfect location close to promenade, very clean rooms, new furniture and super comfortable beds. The best price with breakfast. Excellent service and reception, we arrived late at night without proplems
