Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first spotted PRUVA İNN tucked away on İmaret Sokak – I mean, it’s this narrow little street that most tourists probably walk right past without noticing. But you know what? Sometimes the best finds are hiding in plain sight. This three-star place sits right in the heart of Kaleiçi, and when I say heart, I mean you’re literally surrounded by all those winding cobblestone streets and Ottoman-era houses that make Antalya’s old town so ridiculously photogenic.

The thing about staying here is that you’re actually living like a local for a few days, not just visiting. You can walk to Hadrian’s Gate in maybe three minutes – and I’m talking a slow, coffee-in-hand kind of walk. The marina’s just down the hill, which is perfect because that’s where you’ll want to grab dinner anyway (skip the touristy spots right by the harbor entrance and walk a bit further for better prices). What really got me was how quiet it stays at night despite being so central. Sure, you’ll hear some street noise during the day – it’s a city, after all – but once evening settles in, it’s surprisingly peaceful. The old stone walls seem to just absorb all the chaos from the main tourist drags.

The staff here actually knows their stuff, which honestly can be hit or miss in this part of town. They’ll tell you which hammam is worth your time (hint: not the one all the tour groups go to) and where to catch the best sunset views without fighting crowds. The rooms are clean and comfortable – nothing fancy, but everything works, and the air conditioning is a godsend during those brutal July afternoons. I mean, we’re talking about Antalya in summer here. The whole place has this authentic Turkish hospitality vibe without feeling like they’re trying too hard to impress you. Check-in was smooth, no weird deposit demands or confusing key card situations. And parking – well, you’ll want to ditch the car anyway because walking is so much easier in Kaleiçi, but there are options nearby if you need them. That 9.2 rating isn’t just inflated review scores from people’s honeymoon phases; this place genuinely delivers on being a solid, no-nonsense base for exploring one of Turkey’s most beautiful historic neighborhoods. You’re paying for location and authenticity here, and you’re getting both without the boutique hotel price tag.

  Great location for the old town. Clean and very comfortable room and bed. Pastries, fruit and wine provided on arrival. Helpful and accommodating staff. Air-conditioning and wi-fi worked well.
  
  What could be improved: Room size is on the small side which is fine if you intend to spend the days exploring. Some more variety in breakfast would have been a bonus.

  The location is perfect at the gate of the old city and at the same time close to the tram to the airport.
  The breakfast is simple but good.

  The location is excellent. It is right next to the tram lines and the stations, close to the old city. You could easily walk in the old town and go to the bus station and airport with tram. Besides, the staff is extremely friendly and speaks good English.
  
  What could be improved: The window of the room lead to the corridor instead of outside.
