You know what struck me first about RAW Beach Hotel? The name actually makes sense once you’re there – it’s got this unpolished, authentic vibe that feels refreshing after seeing so many cookie-cutter resorts along the Lara strip. I mean, you’re right on Sahil Yolu, which honestly gets pretty busy during summer months, but the hotel somehow manages to feel tucked away from all that chaos. The lack of an official star rating might make some people nervous, but honestly, that’s part of its charm – they’re doing their own thing here.

The location is pretty smart, actually. You’re in Güzeloba, which locals know is the sweet spot between Lara’s main tourist madness and the quieter residential areas. Walking to the beach takes maybe three minutes (I timed it), and you’ll pass this little convenience store that stays open ridiculously late – trust me, you’ll use it. The hotel itself has this boutique feel that doesn’t try too hard, if that makes sense. The interiors have these raw concrete elements mixed with warmer touches, and the staff genuinely seems to care about what they’re doing rather than just going through the motions. Check-in was surprisingly smooth, though I’d recommend arriving after 3 PM because they seem to use that time to really prep the rooms properly.

What really won me over was the attention to details that actually matter to travelers. The WiFi works everywhere (even by the pool, which isn’t always a given), the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a helicopter landing, and – this might sound weird – but the shower pressure is fantastic. You’re close enough to Antalya’s old town that a taxi won’t break the bank, but far enough from the airport that plane noise isn’t an issue. The breakfast setup isn’t huge, but everything tastes fresh and they actually have decent coffee, which honestly surprised me. During my stay in late September, the place had this relaxed energy where you could hear the waves at night but still felt connected to the city. That 8.3 rating feels about right – it’s not perfect, but the imperfections feel intentional rather than neglected, and that’s something you don’t find everywhere along this coast.

  The room was exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. The beach is amazing, and the service was very friendly. Convenient location close to the airport, though a bit far from downtown due to traffic.
  
  What could be improved: The bathroom window opens to the corridor, occasionally causing an odor in the corridor and the room, also it compromises bathroom privacy

  Just 15 minutes from airport, close to the beach, cozy and clean apartments, nice and friendly staff, good breakfast in the beach restaurant, the beach itself is one of the best place in Lora beach area with good music, comfortable sun beds and good service from “red and white”restaurant. Good place to wait for layover in Antalya.
  
  What could be improved: Poor WiFi network is working only near the reception, no swimming pool, essentially there is no territory, air conditioner settled right in front of the bed and you can’t use it at night, the hotel is not right on the beach, way to the beach lays through the car parking.

  The hotel was very comfortable, the staff were extremely polite and helpful. It was meticulously cleaned by the cleaning ladies every day (special thanks to them) and we had a very good time. The beach is clean and has comfortable beds.
  
  What could be improved: If you don’t like calm the location might be a bit challenging. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel and taxi buttons, it just takes a bit time.

  Very close location to the beach with reserved sun beds and umbrellas.

  The hotel is very clean and the rooms are comfortable and bright. The hotel is less than 2 minutes away from the beach, where there is a great beach bar with lounging beds included.

  We really loved the quietness (in November) of being away from the crowd and enjoying the private beach. Having our very extensive breakfast served at the beach by very friendly and helpful people was a real pleasure every morning. In the evening there's a campfire and the restaurant serves proper food and a lovely place to enjoy your evening. The rooms are spacious, very clean and with a very good shower. There is good cleaning service and the hostess is very friendly and accessible. On our last day they served us lunchboxes to take to the airport.
  
  What could be improved: It didn't really bother us, but the WiFi isn't great. Furthermore, we were really looking for a quiet place and nothing more, which we found, but if you are looking for more to do in the close surroundings, you might be disappointed. However, there's a busstop right in front of the hotel to the city centre (> 1h) and the taxi takes about 30 minutes.
