Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to RENEX Hotels in the Göksu neighborhood, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The address (6849 Sok No 7/1, if you’re navigating) is tucked away in Kepez, which honestly feels more authentic than those tourist-heavy beachfront strips everyone flocks to. You know what I mean? Sometimes the best spots are the ones that aren’t screaming for attention.

The thing about this place is that it actually delivers on that five-star promise without feeling stuffy about it. I mean, sure, everything’s polished and well-maintained, but there’s this relaxed vibe that I really appreciated. The staff genuinely seemed to care – not in that rehearsed way where you can tell they’re following a script, but like they actually wanted you to have a good time. Check-in was smooth, parking wasn’t a nightmare (which, if you’ve driven around Antalya, you know is saying something), and the lobby has this subtle elegance that doesn’t hit you over the head.

What really sold me on RENEX was the attention to details that matter when you’re actually staying somewhere for more than a quick photo op. The rooms are spacious enough that you’re not bumping into your luggage every time you turn around, and the beds – honestly, I slept better there than I have at home lately. The neighborhood itself is pretty quiet, especially compared to the chaos closer to the old town, so you can actually get some rest without earplugs. That said, you’re still close enough to hop over to the main attractions when you want to. It’s maybe a 15-minute drive to Kaleiçi if you’re feeling the historic vibe, or you can head toward the coast without dealing with all the traffic that comes with staying right in the thick of things. The local area has some solid restaurants too – nothing fancy, just good Turkish food that doesn’t cost a fortune because it’s not in a tourist zone.

I get why this place sits at an 8.5 rating. It’s not trying to be the flashiest hotel in Antalya, but it consistently does everything well. The kind of place where you check out feeling like you got your money’s worth, you know? Whether you’re using it as a base to explore the region or just want somewhere comfortable to decompress, RENEX hits that sweet spot between quality and authenticity that’s getting harder to find these days.

  Aesthetically pleasing and the spa facilities were lovely. Staff are really friendly and kind from the concierge to the kitchen staff.
  
  What could be improved: I like everything, my partner feels there should’ve been more variation at breakfast. As it felt quite limited, although the female chef did to her best to make us omelette in the morning.

  We were placed towards the elevator. Complaint does not help, had to stay in the room for 4 days because of alleged overcrowding.
  
  Breakfast personal lazy and unfriendly. We asked for a small spoon and a waffle container for the marmelade. We were told because the breakfast openeing time was over for 5 minutes, she will not get these things anymore.

  Staff friendly and professional, hotel new and really nice decor, rooms spacious and comfy. Lovely bar area, pool and spa are gorgeous. Had a great Haman and massage.
  
  What could be improved: The only comment is rooms at the front of the hotel will suffer noise from the road traffic which is contestant, did not bother me but if your a light sleeper it May bother some.

  Decent WiFi speed,
  Nice aesthetics, nice room layout and reasonable size.
  Very reasonable gym given this is a hotel.
  Effective and fully controllable air conditioning.
  
  What could be improved: They forgot to re-stock in room tea and coffee each day, lol. (Although a gentle reminder might have fixed that – I just didn't have the time to).
