Look, I’ll be straight with you about the REO Hotel Spa – it’s one of those places that’s quietly doing its thing in Antalya without all the flashy marketing you see everywhere else. When I first pulled up to 605. Sokak in the Arapsuyu neighborhood, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect. The area’s got this nice residential feel to it, you know? Not right in the thick of the tourist chaos, but you’re still close enough to everything that matters. Actually, that turned out to be one of my favorite things about staying here – you get to see how locals live while still being a short ride from the old town and beaches.

The hotel itself has this interesting story – it used to be called Pacco Hotel, and you can still see traces of that identity if you look closely. I mean, rebranding isn’t always smooth, but they’ve done a decent job making it feel cohesive. The spa element is what really sets it apart though. I’ve stayed at plenty of four-star places that throw around the word “spa” pretty loosely, but REO actually delivers on that front. The treatment rooms have this calming energy, and honestly, after a day of walking around Antalya’s cobblestone streets, you’ll appreciate having that option right in your hotel. The staff there seems to genuinely know what they’re doing – not just going through the motions like at some places.

What I really appreciated was how the hotel feels authentic to its surroundings. You’re in a proper Turkish neighborhood here, so you’ll hear the call to prayer, smell amazing food cooking in nearby homes, and actually interact with people who aren’t trying to sell you carpet tours every five minutes. The 7.1 rating makes sense to me – it’s not perfect (the WiFi can be spotty in some rooms, and breakfast could use more variety), but it delivers on the things that actually matter. Check-in was smooth, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and there’s decent parking if you’re driving. Plus, being on a quieter side street means you’ll actually get some sleep, which is more than I can say for hotels right on the main drags. If you want to experience Antalya without feeling like you’re trapped in a tourist bubble, and you appreciate having a proper spa to unwind in, REO Hotel Spa is worth considering. Just don’t expect five-star luxury – think of it more as a solid, authentic base for exploring the real Antalya.

  The room was spacious, clean and airy. The bathroom with walk-in shower was perfect for my mum and we were provided with all the bits and bobs like toothbrushes, toothpaste, bath sponges. Comfortable mattress. Very good breakfast with some variety every morning. Very attentive staff. Excellent spa – their massage service has a real value for money.
  
  What could be improved: We had to ask for hangers for the room (and they provided them). The balcony door could not be locked in the open position, so on windy days it would just slam, making noise. There was no choice of pillows and those provided were too hard.

  Spending time on the room’s balcony was just wonderful. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee with a view. If you like, you can also request breakfast in your room by informing the reception a day in advance. It comes with an extra charge, but it was totally worth it – such a lovely experience!

  The breakfast was really nice – plenty of variety and everything was fresh. The location is excellent, very central, and you can easily walk to the beach or the city center. There are also extra breakfast options you can order for an additional charge, and they’re definitely worth trying. The chef prepares them fresh on the spot, and they’re super tasty. It was a lovely stay – thank you!

  I really like the variety of breakfast everyday, and the view from our room was just stunning, we loved waking up to the sunrise and the beach.
  
  What could be improved: During our stay, we experienced significant noise disruptions due to a loud party taking place in the hotel. As a family with young children, this greatly impacted our ability to rest and enjoy our stay. We would appreciate better noise management in the future or the option to be accommodated in a quieter area of the hotel.
