Look, I’ve stayed at a lot of places in Antalya over the years, but Royal Homes 504 is honestly something different – and I mean that in the best way possible. It’s tucked away on Şehit Binbaşı Cengiz Toytunç Caddesi, which sounds intimidating but it’s actually this lovely residential street that most tourists never stumble across. You know what struck me first? The quiet. Even though you’re still in the heart of the city, there’s this peaceful vibe that’s hard to find in most Antalya accommodations. The building itself has character – it’s not some cookie-cutter hotel chain, more like someone took a beautiful Turkish home and turned it into exactly the kind of place you’d want to stay if you actually lived here.

What really gets me about this place is how they’ve managed to nail that boutique feel without being pretentious about it. The owner (or maybe it was the manager – honestly, everyone there seemed genuinely invested) walked me through the property like they were showing off their own home. The rooms have these thoughtful touches that you don’t expect – proper blackout curtains that actually work, a coffee setup that doesn’t involve those terrible pod machines, and bathrooms where you can tell someone thought about water pressure. I mean, after a day walking around Kaleiçi or dealing with the summer heat, that shower was basically heaven. The whole place feels curated rather than just furnished, if that makes sense. There’s local art on the walls, not generic hotel prints, and the common areas have books in multiple languages that look like people actually read them.

Here’s the thing though – and this is why I keep recommending it to friends – it’s the location that really makes it special. You’re close enough to walk to the old town (maybe 15 minutes if you don’t get distracted by all the little shops), but you’re in an actual neighborhood where people live their daily lives. There’s a fantastic little bakery two blocks over that opens ridiculously early, and the evening calls to prayer from the nearby mosque create this beautiful soundtrack without being overwhelming. Parking was surprisingly manageable too, which anyone who’s driven in Antalya will appreciate. The staff genuinely knows the area – not just the tourist spots but where to get the best pide at 2 AM or which beach access points are less crowded. I stayed there during shoulder season in October, and while I can’t speak to summer madness, the whole area felt perfectly livable rather than touristy. With a 9.5 rating, you’d expect it to be one of those places that’s all hype, but honestly? It earned every point of that score by just being consistently thoughtful about the details that actually matter when you’re trying to experience a city rather than just pass through it.

  The location close to the old city. It was clean, quiet, spacious and comfortable. The washing machine was very useful. Good views from the outdoor terrace.
  
  What could be improved: There were no bedside tables or lamps. It was hard to find. The instructions on how to find the apartments came after we had checked in.

  Everything was good. Fully equipped kitchen. Washing machine. Big fridge. All you need from a furnished apartment.
  
  What could be improved: Everything in the room was extremely clean but the blanket (cover) was not clean. It was not even washed after the previous guest. It is the only improvement I would recommend, everything else was great.

  The location was excellent with lots of public transport, supermarkets and other amenities nearby. The views from the terrace were amazing, mountains in one direction, sea in another and city in the third! The apartment was large, well-equipped, and clean.
  
  What could be improved: Since the apartment has a washing machine, it would make sense for drying and ironing equipment to be provided as default rather than needing to be requested.

  Nice and centrally located apartment with a large terrace overlooking the sea. Overall, very well equipped, even with free drinks in the fridge and sachets of instant coffee.
  
  What could be improved: The only thing I could mention is that the bed although comfortable was a bit noisy.

  New hotel, clean room with good view. Very big balcony with partial sea view. Located at old bazaar, the owner and staff very helpful and good in communication. everything was good and very recommended.
