The building has this understated elegance that doesn’t scream for attention, which I mean, is refreshing when you’re used to the flashy resort strips closer to Konyaaltı Beach. The entrance is intimate – maybe six or seven rooms total – and you can tell the owners put thought into every corner instead of just filling space.

What really sets this place apart is how it sits in the neighborhood. You’re genuinely in a residential area where you’ll hear morning calls to prayer from the nearby mosque (not loudly, just… present) and smell fresh bread from the bakery two streets over. The 9.4 rating makes sense once you settle in – the rooms have this perfect balance of modern comfort and Turkish character. I loved the little details like locally-sourced textiles and bathroom fixtures that actually work properly (you’d be surprised how rare that is). The beds are seriously comfortable, and the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a jet engine, which honestly saved my sleep during those sticky July nights. Parking was easier than I expected too – there’s street parking right outside, and the owner pointed me to a quiet spot where I felt safe leaving the rental car.

Here’s the thing though – Royal Homes 505 isn’t trying to be everything to everyone, and that’s exactly why it works. You won’t find a pool or a fancy restaurant, but you’re a fifteen-minute walk to Hadrian’s Gate and all the old town charm, plus there are these amazing family-run restaurants within two blocks that tourists never find. The staff (I think it’s family-owned) genuinely care about your experience without being overly formal about it. They gave me directions to this little tea garden tucked behind the old bazaar that I never would’ve discovered otherwise. If you’re looking for a place that feels authentic to Antalya – not the resort version, but the real city where people actually live – this is your spot. Just don’t expect room service or a concierge desk; expect something better: a place that feels like you belong there.

  The location is excellent. It is very close to the Old Town area and the marina area. It also has a paid parking area very near. The apartment is pretty new and well maintained. It was nice to have a washing machine and a small kitchen. The bathroom was decent. The staff that we interacted with were very responsive and nice.
  
  What could be improved: The room is pretty small. it was difficult to get out of the bed on one side and when we washed clothes the drying rack would take up a lot of the available room. We didn't use the balcony because it was a little cold outside and there was a dividing wall that was teetering because of high winds and it didn't look too safe out there.

  The location is perfect for sightseeing, the flat was small but with everything you might need. We loved the terrace.

  It's great to book a hotel that more feels like an apartment. We could do our laundry for free and had "welcome" waters offered to us in the fridge. This was a great find given the central location and the price we booked it for. I highly recommend it and will look for it again next time I'm in town!
