You know what caught me off guard about Sabah Aparts? I was expecting just another budget place tucked into Kaleiçi’s maze of streets, but honestly, this little spot on Zeytin Sokak has more character than half the fancy hotels I’ve stayed at. The building itself is nothing flashy – I mean, it’s a 3-star apartment hotel, so manage your expectations – but there’s something genuinely welcoming about the whole setup that had me recommending it to friends before I even checked out.

The location is actually perfect if you want to feel like you’re living in old Antalya rather than just visiting it. Zeytin Sokak is one of those narrow cobblestone streets where you’ll hear Turkish conversations drifting from windows and catch the smell of someone’s home cooking around dinnertime. You’re maybe a three-minute walk from the main tourist drag with all the carpet shops and restaurants, but far enough away that you won’t have crowds streaming past at all hours. The apartments themselves are bigger than you’d expect – I had a proper kitchenette that I actually used, which is rare for me when traveling. Nothing fancy, but clean and functional with decent water pressure (trust me, that matters after a day exploring the old town in summer heat).

Here’s the thing about staying in Kaleiçi though – parking is basically impossible if you’re driving, so factor that in. But if you’re planning to explore on foot anyway, which you should, then you’re perfectly positioned. The harbor is literally a five-minute stroll downhill, and I found myself grabbing morning coffee at this little place on the way to Hadrian’s Gate more often than I care to admit. The staff at Sabah seemed to know the neighborhood inside and out too – they pointed me toward a breakfast spot that wasn’t in any guidebook but served the best menemen I had in Turkey. Small touches like that make a difference when you’re trying to get beyond the surface-level tourist experience. The 8.3 rating makes sense to me because it’s not trying to be something it’s not – it’s clean, comfortable, well-located, and run by people who actually care about their guests having a good time in Antalya. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

  Slaapkamer en doucheruimte waren op orde
  
  What could be improved: Het geluid van de aangrenzend restaurant met live-muziek. Zonnebedden roken zeer naar katten urine. Keukenuitrusting kom beter. Geen theedoek, geen vaatlap, geen spatel om een eitje of pannekoek om te draaien, geen broodmes, geen koffiezetapparaat.

  Everything was great, old town centre, everything in perfect distance, all items needed are provided.
  Hot water, bare in mind it has to run for good 3-5min for it to heat up in the shower and also in the kitchen sink so don't be worried about not having hot water. Also heads up, the shower head is mist, doesn't regulate.
  
  What could be improved: Only minor issue is the live music, if you are a light sleeper then this place unfortunately wouldn't be for you. You get used to it eventually, and we were with a 7 month old baby so we are used to the noise so if you aren't i advice against it.

  Nice apartment right in the center of the old town with comfortable double bed and a sofa bed in the living. Nice little courtyard with pool ideal for a little dip during the hot summer period.
  Washing machine is very handy. Easy check in and out and friendly communication.
  
  What could be improved: The kitchen could be equipped a little better.
  In the restaurant next door there was live music playing every night until 1-2 am in the morning. Although we had the windows closed and the air con running it was so loud we couldn’t sleep before they stopped. Maybe this is only during the high season in August but we were quite exhausted every morning. We had no problem with noise during the day and the other guest were very nice and polite people.
