You know what caught me off guard about Sea City Devran? It’s actually one of those places that doesn’t fit into the typical Turkish hotel box – and I mean that in the best way possible. Walking up from Akdeniz Boulevard, you’d almost miss it if you weren’t looking, but that’s sort of the point. While everyone else is crammed into those massive resort complexes further down Konyaalti Beach, this boutique spot sits quietly doing its own thing without all the official star rating nonsense.

The location is honestly perfect if you want to feel like you’re staying somewhere that locals might actually recommend. You’re right on the beach strip but not in that touristy chaos near the port – more toward the quieter end where families from Antalya come on weekends. The spa part isn’t just thrown in there for marketing either; they’ve got this small but really well-designed wellness area that feels more authentic than those sprawling hotel spas that try to do everything. I spent way too much time in their hammam, which – and this is coming from someone who’s been to plenty in Turkey – actually knows what it’s doing. The staff running it clearly learned the craft properly, not just the tourist version.

What really makes this place work is the attention to details that bigger hotels completely miss. The rooms have this clean, minimalist thing going on without feeling sterile, and honestly, the soundproofing is better than places charging twice as much. You can hear the waves at night but not your neighbors, which is basically the holy grail of beachfront stays. The breakfast situation is refreshingly straightforward too – local ingredients, nothing fancy, but everything tastes like it’s supposed to. They make this incredible menemen that I’m still thinking about, and the bread comes from a bakery somewhere in the neighborhood (I tried to find it but never managed to track it down). Parking can be a bit tricky during peak summer months since the street gets packed with beach-goers, but the front desk guys are pretty good at helping you figure it out. The whole vibe is just… relaxed, I guess? Like they’re confident enough in what they’re offering that they don’t need to oversell it or pile on a bunch of extras you don’t want.

  Very helpful staff, both at reception and in the restaurant. Breakfast was excellent, room was clean, location was perfect.
  
  What could be improved: It wasn't clear that "balcony" meant "Juliet balcony", so was disappointed to arrive to find we couldn't sit out on the balcony as we expected. Perhaps that could be made clearer in the room description. Also the WiFi was extremely slow.

  Lovely to be so close to the beach and restaurant, clean towels and sheets everyday if needed. Beach towels available also. Friendly and helpful staff. Definitely recommend it.

  Great location ! Right in front of the beach and not far from the Aquarium and downtown. A great choice of restaurants nearby. The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable, the staff super friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time!

  Even though I had breakfast included, I’m not a breakfast person so had no intention of eating breakfast however the provided breakfast selection was not to my taste and very basic, not much variety
  
  What could be improved: Had a little issue with my bathroom as there was a bit of a smell coming from the shower drain however the bathroom was always clean just had a smell unfortunately but I was offered a room change/upgrade but I really liked my room overall so a solution was made and I was given a diffuser which did the job during my stay 🙂
