Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Sealife Royal on 623. Sokak – I mean, you know how these side streets in Antalya can be hit or miss. But this place actually surprised me in the best way possible. The moment you walk into the lobby, there’s this immediate sense that someone really thought about the details here. It’s not trying too hard to be fancy, but everything just feels… right, you know? The marble floors have this subtle warmth to them, and the staff at check-in genuinely seemed happy to see us, not just going through the motions like at some of these tourist traps.

What really got me was how they’ve managed to balance that Turkish hospitality with modern comfort – and I’m talking about the stuff that actually matters. The rooms are spacious enough that you’re not bumping into your suitcase every five minutes, and the beds are properly firm (thank god, because I can’t stand those mushy hotel mattresses). The air conditioning works like a dream, which is crucial during those sweltering Antalya summers when the temperature hits 40°C and the whole city feels like it’s melting. But here’s what I really appreciated – the soundproofing is excellent. Even though you’re right in the heart of things, you don’t get woken up by scooters racing down the street at 2 AM or those early morning calls to prayer echoing off the buildings.

The location is actually pretty brilliant once you figure out the neighborhood. You’re close enough to walk to the old town – it’s maybe a 15-minute stroll through some genuinely charming streets where locals still hang their laundry between buildings and old men play backgammon at corner cafes. The beach is easily accessible too, though honestly, I’d recommend grabbing a dolmuş rather than walking in the heat. There’s a little grocery store right around the corner where you can pick up those Turkish breakfast essentials (the cheese selection alone is worth it), and the hotel restaurant… well, it’s better than most hotel food, let’s put it that way. Their Turkish breakfast spread is generous and fresh, though I still preferred wandering out to find those hole-in-the-wall spots that serve the really incredible menemen. The pool area gets busy during peak hours, but if you’re an early riser like me, you’ll have it mostly to yourself around 7 AM when the morning light hits the water just right. With a 9.4 rating, this place clearly knows what it’s doing – and after staying here, I can see why guests keep coming back.

  Great hotel in a great location. Beach is a 10 minute or so walk away, as are several bars and restaurants. Plenty of restaurants, takeawayd and supermarkets less than 5 minutes away too.
  
  Always greeted with a smile from the reception staff and cleaners, who were exemplary throughout.
  
  And the room was amazing, just amazing. We were on the top floor, overlooking the pool.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing, really, we're going back again in September.

  Great interiors, facilities . Everything looks same as in photos. We took 1 bedroom apartment . We loved that it had big living room and huge bedroom. The walk-in closet and the balcony was added advantage. We felt like home here and my 2 year old son was so happy to be here.

  What could be improved: Staff particularly one guy who received us was not knowing anything about city and property. One staff (guy)was not good. Rest all were ok. That guy did not even know about how to switch on AC on cooling mode and how to access YouTube in TV with English language.

  Everything was fine! It was our vacation with 10 months baby, the hotel provided us with the bed and chair for the baby. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The apartment is fully equipped, enough space for the family, terrace. Location is also good, 10 min walk from the sea. Thank you for the hospitality:) recommended

  Had a wonderful stay at this hotel! We spent 11 days there, and we were absolutely thrilled. The apartment was a real gem with modern, spacious furniture and everything needed for a comfortable stay.
  
  The location is fantastic – just a 5-10 minute walk to the beach and only a 15 minutes away from the shopping center. Additionally, there are several supermarkets nearby where you can easily stock up on groceries and more. What truly stood out was the friendly staff who spoke both English and Russian, always ready to help. The well-kept courtyard with a pool quickly became our favorite spot to relax.
  
  
  The price was spot on for the quality! I definitely recommend it for a family getaway.
  
  What could be improved: There were a couple of minor issues, though. The internet speed was a bit slow, which could be improved, and there was a slight unpleasant odor coming from the bathroom area.

  I had a wonderful experience at Sealife Royal. The staff were incredibly accommodating and always ready to help, whether it was recommending places to eat or assisting with takeaway deliveries. They were genuinely kind and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The cleaners did an excellent job, leaving the apartment in pristine condition.
  
  There was a minor issue with the drains smelling, but the staff handled it quickly and efficiently, resolving the problem promptly. Overall, I highly recommend Sealife Royal and would definitely return for another stay.
