So I stumbled across Sever Hotel on one of those narrow side streets in Antalya’s old town, and honestly, it took me a minute to even find the entrance – 77. Sokak is one of those tucked-away spots that locals probably use as a shortcut but tourists usually miss entirely. The thing is, that’s actually part of its charm. You know how some places try way too hard to be “boutique”? This one just… is. No fancy star rating plastered everywhere, no marble lobby that makes you feel underdressed, just this quietly confident little place that feels like someone’s really thoughtful friend designed it.

The rooms have this lived-in quality that I mean in the best possible way – everything’s clean and well-maintained, but there’s character in the details. The floors creak just slightly (not enough to wake anyone, but enough to remind you you’re in an actual building with history), and the windows open wide to let in those evening breezes that make Antalya summers bearable. What surprised me was how quiet it gets at night, considering you’re right in the heart of things. I guess being tucked back from the main drags helps, but you can still hear the distant hum of the old town winding down – which is actually pretty soothing if you’re into that sort of ambient city soundtrack. The staff runs the place like they genuinely care about it, not like they’re just clocking in, and they’ll give you the kind of local recommendations that actually pan out (like where to get proper Turkish breakfast that isn’t touristy garbage).

Look, it’s not going to blow your mind with Instagram-worthy amenities or make you feel like royalty, and honestly that 7.3 rating probably reflects the fact that some people expect more polish for their money. But here’s what it does do – it gives you a real sense of place without trying to sanitize the experience. You’re close enough to walk to Kaleiçi’s main attractions without dealing with the chaos of staying right on top of them, the neighborhood has actual life happening in it (there’s a little grocery store around the corner where the owner will remember your face after two visits), and you’ll probably sleep better than you do at home. If you’re the type who needs everything to be predictable and shiny, maybe look elsewhere. But if you want to feel like you’re actually experiencing Antalya rather than just passing through it, Sever Hotel gets that balance right.

  Hotelin konumu sehir merkezinde odugundan dolayi inanilmaz konforlu. Personel icten ve güvenilir. Odalarin temizligi gercekten aradigim konforu karsiladi.Ihtiyac duydugum hersey elimin altindaydi. Sicak su olmasi ve banyo temizligine dikkat etmeleri benim icin cok önemliydi. Tam bir fiyat performans oteliydi.Herkese tavsiye ederim.

  “Sever Otel’de konakladıktan sonra gerçekten çok memnun kaldım. Otelin sıcak ve samimi atmosferi, konforlu ve temiz odaları, detaylara verilen önem sayesinde kendimi evimde gibi hissettim. Personel son derece ilgili ve misafirperverdi; her ihtiyacımda yardımcı oldular. Otelin konumu oldukça merkezi, bu da şehri keşfetmeyi son derece kolaylaştırdı. Hem iş seyahati yapanlar hem de tatil amaçlı konaklayanlar için ideal bir yer. Huzurlu, rahat ve keyifli bir konaklama arayan herkese Sever Otel’i gönül rahatlığıyla tavsiye ederim.   Close to the tram station directly connected to the airport.
  
  What could be improved: The hotel did not provide how shower. They insisted they had fixed and it would come in 30 minutes, but never. After 4 hours, we discussed and agreed we could cancel and leave the hotel with refund. However, they did not allow us to have the money back and insisted we should wait for 4 more hours. The owner on the phone said they were not wrong with anything, just their facility was unfortunately broken and not fixed yet, so we could not get a refund. He yelled at us, "just leave if you want, but we can not give you a refund" and just cut us off. We talk to a police office nearby and we went back with him. Then they insisted they have a right to have the money because we used the room for hours, though they insisted that we should wait for 4.5 hours for hot shower…
  The room was not clean, with many tiny hairs on the walls of the bathroom, no hand towels, no elevator and just broken everywhere. DO NOT CHOSE THIS HOTEL, TOTAL WASTE of your time, money and energy.

  What could be improved: Absolutely disgusting! Deserves the lowest rating. The bed sheets were awful had stains on the sheets and the rooms were very cold. Had to take them off. No extra towels or necessities available. Mold on walls and dirty floors and a BIG parking problem as there is NO parking in front of the property! The cars were parked in an Otopark which was paid.
