First Impressions

When I first pulled up to Side Breeze Hotel in Antalya, I honestly wasn’t expecting much from the quiet Evrenseki neighborhood — but this five-star property completely changed my perspective. The moment you step into the lobby, there’s this immediate sense of understated luxury that doesn’t feel pretentious or over-the-top. What struck me most was how the staff genuinely seemed to care about creating a memorable experience, not just going through the motions you sometimes get at larger resort chains.

Location & Neighborhood

Evrenseki is actually one of those hidden gems along the Turkish Riviera that locals know about but tourists often overlook. You’re about 15 minutes from the ancient ruins of Side (which you absolutely have to see), but far enough away from the crowds to feel like you’ve discovered something special. The hotel sits in this perfect sweet spot where you can walk to authentic Turkish restaurants and small shops, yet still have easy access to pristine beaches. I mean, the parking situation alone is worth mentioning — it’s completely free and private, which is honestly a relief when you’re exploring the region by car.

The Room Experience

My room had this beautiful view that I wasn’t expecting from the photos online. The design strikes this nice balance between modern comfort and subtle Turkish influences — think clean lines with warm, earthy touches rather than anything too flashy. What I really appreciated was the attention to detail: the air conditioning actually works well (crucial in summer), the bathroom has excellent water pressure, and there’s plenty of storage space. You know what really impressed me though? The soundproofing is exceptional, so even when the hotel was fully booked, I never heard my neighbors.

Dining & Amenities

The breakfast buffet deserves its own paragraph because it’s genuinely outstanding. We’re talking fresh local produce, traditional Turkish specialties alongside international options, and everything is clearly prepared with care rather than just bulk-produced hotel food. The restaurant staff pays attention to dietary restrictions too, which made my vegetarian partner very happy. Beyond the food, the hotel’s spa facilities are where you’ll want to spend your downtime — the treatments incorporate local ingredients and techniques that you won’t find at chain hotels.

After talking with other guests during my stay, it became clear why couples rate this place so highly. There’s something about the intimate scale and personalized service that makes it feel romantic without being cheesy about it. The staff remembers your preferences, the setting encourages you to slow down and actually relax, and the location gives you options whether you want adventure or pure relaxation. Honestly, with a 9.2 rating, I was skeptical it could live up to the hype — but it actually exceeded my expectations in ways that matter for a memorable Turkish coast experience.

  First and foremost, the staff at Side Breeze Hotel were simply wonderful. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. They went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable.
  The variety and quality of dishes offered at the hotel restaurant were fantastic.
  As for the entertainment, it was both engaging and high-quality. The hotel hosted a fantastic lineup of activities and performances that kept guests entertained throughout their stay.

  Отдыхали с мужем в октябре 2022г. Отель неплохой. Уборка номера и постельное белье отличное.
  Отмечала свой день рождения. Неожиданно приятно было получить в номер поздравление от Дирекции отеля и большую тарелку разных фруктов. Ресторан отличный! Все работники услужливы. Еда вкусная и разнообразная. Мясо, курица, индейка, рыба каждый день разная, салаты с креветками, мидиями, соусы и сладости… Нам повезло т.к. сменился шеф – повар.
  
  What could be improved: Полотенца очень старые с дырками и пятнами. Не приятно. В описании отеля было сказано про доступность для людей с ограниченными возможностями. В душевой есть поручни. Случайно взялась за него и он отвалился. По-русски мало кто из персонала говорит, хотя при предварительной переписке сказали, что есть на ресепшен. Не было. Администратор сауны – редкий хам. Открыто сказал, что не любит русских туристов. При обмене пляжного полотенца записал нам долг 1 евро. Об этом узнали только при выезде. WI-FI бесплатный только в лобби. Чтобы иметь его в номере, заплатите по 2 евро сутки. Хотя и так на второй день работали и из номера. Обман!
