You know what struck me first about Hotel Skovde? It’s tucked away on this quiet side street – 10. Sokak – which honestly took me a minute to find, but that’s actually part of its charm. Most tourists are rushing around the main drags in Antalya, but this little pocket feels refreshingly local. The hotel itself has that solid four-star vibe without trying too hard – I mean, you’re not getting marble everything, but the lobby has this warm, lived-in feeling that immediately puts you at ease. The staff genuinely seemed to care about getting things right, which you don’t always find at mid-range places.

The location is really where this place shines, though most people probably don’t realize it at first glance. You’re close enough to the old town that you can walk there in about fifteen minutes (though it’s uphill coming back – fair warning), but far enough from the tourist chaos that you can actually sleep at night. There’s this little bakery two blocks down that locals hit up for morning börek, and honestly, discovering that felt like finding a secret. The rooms are what you’d expect – clean, functional, with decent air conditioning that actually works when the summer heat gets brutal. I stayed in July and never felt like I was melting, which is saying something for Antalya in peak season.

What really sold me on recommending this place is how it feels authentic without being pretentious about it. The breakfast spread includes proper Turkish items alongside the usual hotel fare, and you’ll find yourself sitting next to Turkish business travelers, not just package tourists. The Wi-Fi is solid (worked great for video calls), parking is available without the usual city headaches, and the whole vibe is just… comfortable. Sure, it’s not going to wow you with infinity pools or celebrity chef restaurants, but sometimes you want a place that does the basics really well. With an 8.4 rating, other travelers clearly agree – and honestly, that score feels about right. It’s the kind of hotel you’d book again without thinking twice about it.

  Tolle Lage, sehr familienfreundlich und entspannt . Sehr ruhig obwohl man in wenigen Minuten am lebhaften Strand ist. Es ist viel schöner als im Hotel weil es viel Platz gibt und wir haben jeden Tag auch den Garten genutzt. Herr Berat hat unsere Eltern die sich verfahren haben sogar persönlich abgeholt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

  Très belle résidence appartement neuf cuisine bien équipée, vue sur mer,quartier très calme,ont a été bien accueilli par Mazlum personnel de l'appartement, il faut compter 20/30 min de transport pour le centre antalya.

  What could be improved: We booked this apartment in Antalya because of its high ratings, but we were let down. The place was dirty upon arrival, with food left in the dishwasher and a grimy bathroom with residues in the toilet bowl and hairs all over the walls. After our complaint, a cleaning lady did come and cleaned for an hour, which made a slight improvement but still didn't bring it up to a standard of cleanliness.
  
  Essential items like soap were missing when we arrived, and only after we complained were they provided. The balcony was a nice retreat where we spent a lot of our time, but the enjoyment was cut short at night since the light was broken.
  
  Given the glowing reviews, our expectations were high, but this experience was a big letdown. I wouldn't recommend this apartment to anyone.

  It was very easy. The manager was quick to reply and also reach out to confirm before we arrived. Very Attentive and willing to help at any time.

  Чисто, есть все необходимое. Новая мебель и техника. Красивый вид из окна. Хороший Гарден, есть охрана и магазинчик.
  
  What could be improved: Отсутствовал носик у крана, струя била в тебя при открытии крана на полную. В марте немного дуло с окна.

  The location was wonderful. There was a playground there for our kids, although it was a little old. However, just down the boardwalk there as another playground. It was easy and quick to get to the beach and walk down that boardwalk. Also, some convent restaurants near by. The host was helpful and kind. The security that worked the gate were also very kind. There was free parking, but could be inconvenient if the spots were all taken up by residence. So you would have to park on the street a small distance away.
  
  What could be improved: It would have been nice to have salt and pepper and maybe some oil provided for cooking and another wine glass. Maybe dish soap as well. We did laundry there, but the drying rack was old and semi broken. It would be nice to have more options to dry clothes for those that want to do laundry.

  The location was great being across the road from Konyaalti Beach with plenty of food and transport at your doorstep.
  
  What could be improved: The building itself is a very old apartment building, the pool was closed which we weren’t told until we got there, the standard of cleanliness in the hallways are very low, we didn’t have hot running water the whole stay which made showering difficult.
