I mean, you can hear the call to prayer from the nearby mosque in the mornings (which I actually found pretty peaceful), and there’s this fantastic little bakery just around the corner where locals grab their morning simit.

The hotel itself feels like someone’s stylish apartment that they decided to share with travelers – and I say that in the best possible way. Each room has its own personality instead of that sterile sameness you get at chain hotels. Mine had these gorgeous Turkish tiles in the bathroom and windows that actually opened wide (rare find these days). The owner clearly put thought into the details – handpicked furniture, local artwork, even the coffee cups felt special. Parking was surprisingly easy for this part of Antalya, which anyone who’s driven here will tell you is no small miracle. The staff genuinely seemed to care about making sure you knew the neighborhood – they pointed me toward this incredible family-run restaurant about five minutes away that I never would’ve found otherwise.

What really sells me on Sky Kamer is how it manages to feel both intimate and professional. The 8.4 rating makes perfect sense because it’s not trying to be everything to everyone – it’s just really, really good at being what it is. The WiFi actually works (tested it thoroughly for work calls), the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a helicopter, and checkout was refreshingly laid-back. Sure, it doesn’t have a massive pool or fancy spa, but honestly? After spending days exploring Antalya’s old town and beaches, I just wanted a beautiful, quiet space to recharge. The neighborhood comes alive in the evenings with families taking walks and kids playing in the small park nearby – it felt like getting a glimpse of real Turkish life rather than the tourist bubble. If you’re the type who prefers discovering a place through local eyes rather than resort isolation, Sky Kamer hits that sweet spot perfectly.

  Clean and comfy room. Few types of pillows to choose from in the room, including memory foam. Well equipped room with many amenities like shoe horn, travel toothbrush and paste, sewing kit and others. Very nice Turkish breakfast. Nice sea view.

  The hotel is perfectly located next to the old town and offers a stunning sea view. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The highlight of my stay was the breakfast—absolutely amazing and incredibly diverse. Would definitely recommend!

  The staff at the hotel was extremely helpful and kind, even tho we were not the most easy travellers with a toddler that made chaos every morning at breakfast, they would always be understanding and helping out.
