Look, I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to the Sorta Hotel on 563. Sokak, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place. The name alone had me a bit skeptical, you know? But man, sometimes you get pleasantly surprised. This little spot in Antalya actually punches way above its weight, and I mean that in the best possible way. The street it’s on is one of those quieter side roads that locals use as a shortcut – you’re close enough to everything without dealing with the tourist chaos that hits the main drags during peak season. I stayed here in July (yeah, I know, brave or stupid), and while you could hear the distant hum of the coastal crowds, the actual hotel felt like this calm pocket away from all that madness.

What really got me was how the staff seemed to actually care about getting things right. Check-in was smooth – no standing around for twenty minutes while they “find your reservation” like at some places. The lobby’s got this lived-in feel that’s comfortable without trying too hard to be fancy. You can tell they’ve put thought into the small stuff that actually matters when you’re tired from traveling. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, though honestly, don’t expect a huge space – it’s Turkey, not Texas. But the AC works (crucial in Antalya summers), the shower has decent pressure, and the beds are actually comfortable. I’ve stayed at supposedly fancier places where I woke up feeling like I’d been sleeping on cardboard, so that’s not nothing.

Here’s the thing that really struck me – this place has a 9.1 rating, and after staying there, I totally get why. It’s not trying to be something it’s not. The Sorta Hotel knows it’s a solid 3-star spot and just… delivers on that promise really well. You’re about a fifteen-minute walk to the old town if you take the route through the residential streets (which I’d recommend anyway – you get a better feel for how people actually live here). Parking’s not terrible if you have a car, though like anywhere in Antalya’s city center, you’ll want to get back before evening when spaces get scarce. The neighborhood’s got a few decent cafes and a small market nearby where locals shop, so you’re not stuck in some tourist bubble. Honestly, for the price point and location, it’s one of those finds that makes you feel a bit smug – like you’ve discovered something that the tour groups haven’t ruined yet. If you’re looking for a place that just works without any drama, and you don’t need someone rolling out red carpets every time you walk through the lobby, this could be exactly what you’re after.

  Very friendly staff, the receptionist was always very helpful. Very easy to take a taxi, the location is ideal to the beach and very good shops.
  The receptionist helped us with any local questions we found supermarkets, barbers, beach etc was very close to the apartment, the best location.
  All the members of staff had very good energy and genuinely looked happy 😊
  The apartment is just what you need for a small family (3 total) the kitchen facilities make your stay enjoyable.

  Extremely lovely place! Nice, modern building, clean and roomy flat, close to the two shops. Lovely cafe space, lemon trees around, pretty swimming pool. Great location, good restaurant near it. We spent there 10 beautiful days. There is always the sun and the name of the sun is Sevim, absolutely adorable, warm, kindful and friendly person! I hope see you soon! Thank you for everything!

  A lovely property within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the beach. Beautiful little pool area with complimentary tea and coffee. Room itself was spacious, bed comfortable (and I am pretty fussy!), washing machine, smart tv, and nice little bathroom with shower. Reception staff really friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Buses can be caught the next street over which gives plenty of options to travel the Antalya region. Highly recommended.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing really but some little niggles. We were on the ground floor and balcony was very small. Location is right next to a school so can get pretty noisy at certain times of the day, but don’t let that stop you booking this wonderful apart hotel.

  This place is just perfect. The rooms are nice and clean, and if you wish they can be cleaned every day, we also received fresh towels daily. The rooms are spacious, perfect for families with more members. There is a very nice pool and a cafeteria outside. Balcony in room, perfect for smokers. The staff was so helpful and super friendly. If we come back to Antalya, we will definitely book the Sorta Hotel again! Thanks a lot 💙

  The apartment was very clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable and location was quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. My son was so happy as they made him feel so welcomed.
