What’s brilliant is that while you’re staying in this incredibly atmospheric neighborhood, the modern city and its beaches are still easily accessible. I’ve stayed in other parts of Antalya, but honestly, nothing beats waking up to the sound of church bells and seagulls instead of traffic.

The entrance floor suite itself is spacious — much more room than you’d expect from most three-star places in this area. There’s a separate living area that actually feels lived-in rather than sterile, and the bedroom has this lovely traditional Turkish touch without going overboard on the theme hotel vibe. You know what’s great about this location? Everything you want to see in Antalya is walkable, but you’re also staying somewhere that locals actually frequent. There’s a little bakery around the corner where I grabbed fresh simit every morning, and the evening light hitting the old stone buildings creates this golden hour that photographers dream about. The narrow streets can get busy during peak tourist hours, but early morning and late evening, you’ll have them mostly to yourself. It’s one of those places where you feel like you’re experiencing the real Antalya, not just the resort version.
