The Little Prince Boutique Otel Overview
You know what caught me off guard about The Little Prince Boutique Otel? I walked right past it twice before realizing this narrow Ottoman house tucked into Aydoğdu Sokak was actually my hotel. And honestly, that’s part of its charm – it feels more like you’re staying at a well-traveled friend’s place than some generic hotel.
The location is pretty brilliant if you know Kaleiçi at all. You’re literally inside the old town walls, which means you can stumble back from dinner at the harbor without dealing with taxis or that uphill climb from the main tourist strip. I mean, you’re still on cobblestones (pack comfortable shoes, trust me), but it’s maybe a three-minute walk to Hadrian’s Gate and five to the marina. The narrow street keeps most of the tour groups away, so mornings are actually peaceful – just the sound of shopkeepers hosing down their storefronts and maybe some cats having territorial disputes.
What I really appreciated was how they’ve kept the old house character without making it feel like a museum. The rooms have these thick stone walls that keep things cool even in July heat, and the courtyard – well, it’s tiny, but there’s something nice about having coffee there in the morning before the day gets crazy. The owner (I think his name was Mehmet?) actually lives nearby and you’ll probably run into him. He’s one of those guys who knows everyone in the neighborhood, so if you need restaurant recommendations beyond the tourist traps, he’s your person. The whole place only has maybe eight rooms, which means you’re not fighting for attention at breakfast or waiting around for elevators.
Now, it’s not perfect – the WiFi gets spotty on the upper floors, and if you’re the type who needs a huge bathroom with fancy toiletries, this might not be your place. The shower in my room was basically European-tiny, though the water pressure was surprisingly good. Also, parking is basically impossible right outside (it’s pedestrian-only streets), but there’s a lot about ten minutes away that won’t break the bank.
The thing is, most hotels in Kaleiçi either feel like they’re trying too hard to be “authentic” or they’ve completely modernized away any character. This place sort of splits the difference – you get the old-world vibe without feeling like you’re camping. Plus, being on a side street means you’re not dealing with the restaurant touts and souvenir hawkers every time you step outside. You can actually walk to the Kesik Minare or down to the harbor without running a gauntlet of “my friend, special price for you!”
I’d say it’s perfect for people who want to feel like they’re discovering something rather than just booking another hotel room. The 8.2 rating makes sense – it’s not luxury, but it’s got personality and the kind of location you can’t really put a price on. Just don’t expect resort-style service or amenities. This is more about location, character, and having a genuine local experience in one of Turkey’s most touristy cities.

Reviews of The Little Prince Boutique Otel
Irina from Russia – 4 April 2025 (9/10)
This hotel is super cute — perfect for kids and for adults who love The Little Prince. Everything is tiny and very cozy. It’s located in the old town, and we were really surprised that you can actually drive right up to it. Just a few meters away there’s a big private parking lot, free for hotel guests. Breakfast was also very sweet. Huge thanks to the staff for being so kind and helpful. The only downside is loud music at night — but that’s just the old town vibe, not the hotel’s fault.
The hotel is perfect if you’re visiting to explore the old town. We were planning to start the Lycian trail, and for all our gear, the room felt a bit tight — but that’s just us with too much stuff.Renske from United Kingdom – 30 March 2025 (9/10)
Building was lovely. Rooms spotless and decorated to a high standard. The complementary bathrobes a nice touch. Breakfast in the courtyard extensive and tasty.
What could be improved: We were here over the weekend at the end of Ramadan. Which does mean party time. Due to this it was very noisy, which was understandable. Earplugs were an absolute must.Karolina from Poland – 9 March 2025 (9/10)
Hotel is located in ol town and has comfortable room. Nice staff. Price was affordable, breakfast tasty.
What could be improved: Club is nearby so it's better to sleep with earplugs.Eriks_ from Latvia – 24 February 2025 (7/10)
Very helpful stuff Hakan at reception!
The interior used a lot of wood stuff.
Free water in the room.
The owner paid attention to their lethal parts such as the decoration of the walls, ergonomics of rooms.
The rooms look like they are in a fairy tail, low ceiling, small and comfortable.
This is a hotel for young people who never sleep!
What could be improved: This is a very loud area.
I lived there Friday Saturday and Sunday.
Each midnight it was a party.
The sound went through my thin window and it seems that the party is in my room.
I could also listen to Street girl instructions, given to a client.
Breakfast was very moderate.Tobias from Germany – 5 November 2024 (9/10)

What could be improved: Noise Sound in the clubSarah from Australia – 28 May 2024 (9/10)
The staff were exceptional. Incredibly helpful and friendly.
The rooms were furnished beautifully.
What could be improved: There is a loud club next door. Fortunately, we were able to sleep, but light sleepers might find it difficult.Valeriia from Russia – 26 May 2024 (8/10)
