You know what caught me off guard about The Ninova? I was expecting another generic boutique place, but this little gem tucked away on Hamitefendi Sokak actually has some serious character. The location is honestly perfect if you want to be right in the heart of Kaleiçi’s old town – I mean, you’re literally walking on Ottoman-era cobblestones to get to your front door. The narrow street keeps it quiet despite being so central, which is kind of amazing considering how packed the main tourist strips get during summer.

The hotel itself feels more like staying at a really well-designed friend’s place than some stuffy boutique property. They don’t have an official star rating, but honestly, that works in their favor because they’re not trying to tick boxes – they’re just focused on doing things right. The rooms have this authentic Turkish feel without being kitschy about it, and I loved how they’ve preserved original architectural details while still making everything feel fresh and comfortable. The breakfast spread was actually impressive for a smaller place, with proper Turkish tea and some local specialties you won’t find at the big chain hotels down by the harbor.

What really sold me on this place was how the staff seemed to genuinely know the neighborhood. When I asked about avoiding the tourist crowds at Hadrian’s Gate (which is basically around the corner), they gave me specific timing advice that actually worked. Plus, they helped me figure out the whole parking situation – because let’s be real, driving in Kaleiçi is a nightmare, but they’ve got arrangements with a nearby lot that saves you from circling those tiny streets forever. The 8.6 rating makes total sense to me; it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Antalya, but it nails the things that actually matter when you’re exploring this incredible historic quarter. If you want to wake up and wander through Roman ruins before the tour buses arrive, then come back to somewhere that feels like a proper home base rather than just a place to crash, The Ninova gets it right.

  The hotel staff is very cooperative and helpful. Location is great, its bit difficult to find but hotel staff guide us. Free parking space is available.
  Breakfast does not have much choice but overall is good. Value for money.

  Everything was perfect. We arrived at deep night, but there was a receptionist or owner waiting for us.
  Hotel itself is located in the heart of Antaliya, close to the main sites.
  Air conditioner worked properly, the room itself was spacious and have a great interior.
  Breakfast was served well. Inspite we were there just 1 day I have a feeling that next time we can stay with them for a couple days.

  In the middle of the old town. Really comfortable, could walk easily around town, down to the beach. Reception recommended the best Hamam ever! caught a local bus to the Duden Falls – awesome.

  Ninova is an authenthic and charming hotel with a very nice atmosphere. Very quiet as well, although it is situated right in the hart of the old town. We enjoyed the breakfast in the garden which is full of flowers and orange trees. The staff is very friendly. We booked one night and returned for two more nights at the end of our holidays. The value for money is excellent. Other, more expensive hotels cannot compete with Ninova!
