The apart-hotel setup is perfect if you’re planning to stay more than just a couple nights. Each unit has this little kitchenette situation that’s actually functional (not just for show like some places), and the owner – this genuinely friendly guy who speaks decent English – will point you toward the local market just two streets over where you can grab fresh bread and those amazing Turkish tomatoes. The rooms themselves are clean and spacious enough, though don’t expect luxury finishes or anything – we’re talking solid 3-star territory here, but everything works properly. The air conditioning is a lifesaver during those brutal Antalya summers, and the Wi-Fi is surprisingly reliable (I worked from there a few mornings without issues). What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night – the building’s set back from the main road, so you don’t get the constant hum of traffic that plagues a lot of city hotels.

Here’s the thing about this area though – it’s authentically Turkish in a way that the beachfront strip just isn’t. You’ll see actual families doing their evening walks, kids playing soccer in the small park nearby, and there’s this little tea garden about five minutes away where the locals hang out (ask the hotel owner, he’ll tell you exactly where). The location works brilliantly if you want to explore both old Antalya and the coastal areas – buses run regularly from the main street, and honestly, a taxi to Kaleiçi (the old town) shouldn’t cost you more than 30 lira. Parking can be a bit tricky if you’re driving, but there’s usually space on the side streets if you don’t mind walking a block or two. For the price point and that solid 8-point rating, Toprak Apart Otel delivers exactly what it promises – a comfortable, no-nonsense base in a neighborhood that actually feels like Turkey, not just a tourist version of it.

  Neat and clean room with functional as well as clean washroom. Luggage storage service available at the reception with access to the washroom, comes in handy if one has checked out. Friendly reception staff who will help arrange tours and cab or transfers as needed at reasonable rates.
  
  What could be improved: Free water (2 small bottles) are provided only on Day-1. After that, you need to buy water on a daily basis. However, there is a water dispenser in the breakfast area, which can be used to fill your bottles with potable drinking water. Relatively thin dry walls separating rooms but thankfully we had good neighbours who weren't noisy!

  The quality for the price you pay is tremendous. The most important point is the cleanliness of the room. Very helpful staff.

  Nice hotel to stay in for a night. Delicious breakfast, friendly personnel, close to supermarkets and a tram station. Clean towels, hot water, air conditioner. It was quiet. In general, it was a pleasant experience.
  
  What could be improved: The room was clean, and the bed linen seemed fresh, although there were someone's hairs on the bed, under a blanket and a pillow. One of the walls had multiple big holes. I'm mentioning it only for aesthetic reasons. Those holes didn't influence the functionality of the room anyhow.
