The name’s pretty generic, and it’s this quirky little place that doesn’t bother with official star ratings (which actually turned out to be refreshing). But you know what? Sometimes the unassuming spots are the ones that surprise you most. This boutique property sits right in Güzeloba, and if you know Antalya at all, you’ll appreciate that you’re basically getting the best of both worlds here – close enough to Lara’s buzzing beach scene but tucked away from the main tourist chaos.

The thing about this place is it’s got character, and I mean that in the best way. It’s not trying to be some cookie-cutter resort experience. The owners clearly put thought into making it feel more like a local gem than a typical tourist trap. I actually spent a good chunk of time just wandering around the neighborhood – there’s this great little bakery about a five-minute walk away where locals grab their morning simit, and honestly, that’s the kind of authentic touch you don’t get when you’re stuck in the resort bubble. The hotel itself has this relaxed, almost residential vibe that grew on me quickly. Sure, it’s not going to win any luxury awards (that 7.4 rating feels about right), but there’s something appealing about a place that focuses on being comfortable rather than flashy.

What really won me over was how the staff actually seemed to know the area – not just the standard tourist recommendations, but real insider knowledge about which beaches are less crowded in the afternoons, where to find the best pide in the neighborhood, that sort of thing. The rooms are clean and functional, nothing fancy but you’ve got everything you need, and the air conditioning actually works well (trust me, that matters in Antalya summers). I did notice some street noise in the mornings – this is a fairly busy area after all – but it’s the kind of neighborhood sounds that remind you you’re staying somewhere real, not some isolated tourist compound. If you’re looking for that authentic Turkish hospitality without the inflated prices of the big-name hotels, and you don’t mind trading some polish for personality, Tourist Hotel delivers exactly what it promises. It’s the kind of place I’d actually recommend to friends who want to experience Antalya like a local rather than just pass through it.

  It’s convenient for stop over and change especially for us who wanted to go many places

  Beach: the hotel offers free entrance to Yakamoz beach 5 min walk.
  Room view: View was exceptional Duden waterfalls from a side and the sea view from the other side.
  Staff : people were amazing, very helpful and friendly (reception , breakfast area , and the cleaning service)
  
  What could be improved: Nothing to mention. There was a problem in the shower at the arrival but was fixed in the same day.

  The breakfast was nice, good options and were different each day. Staff really nice and helpful and we stayed in a penthouse room which had an amazing view.
  
  What could be improved: Our room had no working phone and sometimes the shower would stop working and be completely cold. Cleaners also did not do the room regularly and we had to keep asking for a clean
