You know what struck me first about Trend Suites? It’s tucked away on this quiet side street in Altınkum – 416 Sokak if you’re looking for it – but you’re literally a five-minute walk from Konyaaltı Beach. I mean, that’s the sweet spot right there. You get the calm residential vibe without being stuck in the middle of nowhere, and honestly, after spending a week there last summer, I can see why it’s pulling an 8.6 rating.

The suites themselves are actually… well, suite-like, if that makes sense. Not those fake “suites” that are basically hotel rooms with a mini-fridge shoved in the corner. These have proper separation between the sleeping area and living space, which was a lifesaver when my travel companion wanted to stay up watching Turkish drama series while I crashed early. The kitchenette isn’t massive, but it’s got everything you need – I actually cooked breakfast a few times using stuff from the little market around the corner on Altınkum Mahallesi. The air conditioning works properly too (crucial in Antalya summers, trust me), and the WiFi was solid throughout the building, even by the pool area.

Speaking of location though – this is where Trend Suites really shines. You’re close enough to hear the Mediterranean if you open your balcony door at night, but far enough from the main Konyaaltı strip that you won’t get woken up by party crowds stumbling home at 3 AM. The tram stop is maybe a ten-minute walk, which connects you to the old town and basically everywhere else you’d want to go. I found myself walking to the beach most mornings – there’s this little bakery on the way that does incredible börek, and the hotel staff actually told me about it, which I appreciated. They seem to know the neighborhood pretty well and aren’t just pushing tourist traps. The building itself feels more like a boutique property than your typical four-star chain – there’s attention to detail in the lobby design and common areas that suggests someone actually cared about creating a space, not just filling rooms. Parking was straightforward too, which isn’t always a given in this part of Antalya.

  nice apartment, it's not the first time I've stayed here. The price is excellent. Daily room cleaning is included in the price. Wifi is working.
  
  What could be improved: This is Turkey, not Dubai, and it's still the 20th century, not the 21st, so I wouldn't expect anything fantastic. The attic is dirty, the sink is clogged in the toilet, the shower is not working well – the water is hot or cold… The lamp in the shower burned out, I wrote on whatsapp they said they would fix it, but they never fixed it. But other than that, it's a great place. Here you can drink coffee or juice 24/7 at the reception.
  
  Perhaps the most annoying thing is the bed. It consists of two that are constantly moving apart. Sleeping normally together is difficult.

  Great location in Konyaalti. Plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. Property is modern and layout well planned. Communication with the host and gaining access was stress free. Apartment was spacious. WiFi worked very well. Apartment was cleaned every day which is a really appreciated touch.

  I liked the stay, it was cozy and warm, very bright sunny apartments. All issues were resolved quickly. Professional staff. Comfortable bed, comfortable mattress. Fast internet, cool balcony. Special thanks for housekeeping: fast, clean. And also thanks for solving the issue with the air conditioner.
