You know what? I’ve walked past Tulii Rooms probably a dozen times before I actually noticed it tucked away on 2009 Sokak – which, honestly, is part of its charm. This isn’t one of those flashy places screaming for attention along the main drags. It’s more like stumbling across someone’s beautifully curated home that they’ve decided to share with travelers who appreciate something different.

The whole “boutique without a star rating” thing actually makes perfect sense once you’re inside. I mean, how do you rate a place that feels more like staying with an incredibly stylish friend than checking into a traditional hotel? Each room has this distinct personality – and I’m not talking about generic “themed” rooms, but spaces that actually feel thoughtfully designed by someone who cares about details. The kind of place where you’ll find yourself photographing corner arrangements and texting pictures to friends back home. What really got me was the morning light streaming through these perfectly positioned windows, and the way everything just… works together. The owners clearly spent time thinking about how spaces feel, not just how they look in photos.

The location is brilliant if you know Antalya beyond the tourist bubble. You’re in this quiet residential pocket where actual locals live their daily lives – there’s a little bakery two streets over where the guy remembers your coffee order after two visits, and you can walk to the old town without dealing with the chaos of the main tourist strips. Parking isn’t the nightmare it is closer to Kaleiçi (though honestly, just Uber around – it’s so cheap here). The neighborhood gets properly quiet at night, which is gold if you’re trying to recover from exploring the city all day or if you’re working remotely and need actual peace. I stayed during shoulder season in late April, and the whole area had this perfect unhurried vibe – busy enough to feel alive, calm enough to actually relax. Check-in was refreshingly personal too, none of that corporate hotel script nonsense. They actually seemed to care whether you had a good stay, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how rare that genuine hospitality feels these days.
