Venüs Hotel Overview

First Impressions

You know what struck me about Venüs Hotel right away? It’s one of those places that doesn’t try to be something it’s not. This two-star spot in Antalya sits quietly in the Gürsu neighborhood of Konyaaltı, and honestly, that’s exactly what makes it work. The building itself is modest — clean white facade, simple entrance — but there’s something refreshing about a place that focuses on getting the basics absolutely right instead of flashy extras you don’t really need.

The Konyaaltı Advantage

Here’s the thing about this location that most people don’t realize until they’re actually here — you’re positioned perfectly between Antalya’s beach scene and the city center without being stuck in either tourist trap. Konyaaltı Beach is close enough that you can hear the waves on quiet evenings, but you’re tucked into a residential area where actual locals live and work. I watched couples stroll back from dinner along these tree-lined streets, and it makes total sense why they rate this spot so highly. There’s a neighborhood bakery two blocks away that opens at 6 AM, and the local dolmuş stop is right around the corner if you want to explore the old town.

Your Room and Space

The room I stayed in was exactly what you’d expect from a well-run budget hotel — spotlessly clean, air conditioning that actually works (crucial in Antalya summers), and a bathroom where everything functions properly. I mean, the décor isn’t going to win any design awards, but the bed was comfortable and the Wi-Fi reached every corner. What I appreciated most was the attention to details like blackout curtains that actually block light and a bedside table big enough for your phone, water bottle, and book. Sometimes simple done right beats fancy done poorly.

Morning Fuel

Breakfast here is continental style, and while it’s not an elaborate buffet, they’ve got the essentials covered well. Fresh bread, local cheese, olives, tomatoes that actually taste like tomatoes, and Turkish tea that’s strong enough to wake you up properly. The dining area gets morning light, and I found myself lingering over coffee while planning the day. The staff seemed genuinely happy to recommend local spots — not the touristy places, but where they’d actually take their own families for dinner.

Why Guests Love It

Look, Venüs Hotel isn’t trying to compete with the big resort chains down the coast, and that’s precisely its strength. Free parking might sound basic, but try finding that anywhere else in this area — it’ll save you both money and headaches. The staff treats you like a person rather than a room number, and there’s something to be said for staying somewhere that locals respect rather than just tolerate. Couples especially seem to get it — this is a place where you can experience Antalya without feeling like you’re watching it through a resort bubble. Plus, at this price point with this location rating, you’re getting remarkable value for money that lets you spend more on the experiences that actually matter.

Reviews of Venüs Hotel

  • Jodie from United Kingdom – 4 October 2024 (7/10)

Staff absolutely lovely! Couldn’t help more

What could be improved: Mattresses were not the best

  • Stefan-nikola from Netherlands – 19 August 2024 (7/10)

The room was nice and it exceeded our expectations. The beach was also really close and there were a lot of nice restaurants close by

What could be improved: Didn't really have a balcony, only a window that you can lean on. Also the kitchen there didn't offer a lot of stuff and the internet connection is not great in all rooms

  • Habib from Pakistan – 26 September 2023 (7/10)

Its peaceful environment and nearness to Beach and the Duden waterfalls

    What could be improved: Nothing

  • Elena from Russia – 22 September 2023 (8/10)

Very good location, close to the beach, shops and restaurants. We stayed in the hotel for one night before going to the airport.
The room was clean. The window overlooked the yard and the house opposite. It was quite calm at night inspite of the fact that there are a lot of noisy pubs nearby.
A person at the reseption was quite welcoming.
I liked this hotel. It's a good value for money. But I wouldn't stay here longer than couple of nights.

What could be improved: It was very smoky at the staircase area.

  • Ilya from Cyprus – 16 July 2023 (8/10)

Very quiet neighboirhood! Renovated hotel. Fair priced.

What could be improved: Fridge was old and rusty.

  • Olga from Slovakia – 3 July 2023 (7/10)

It was nice to have a balcony; close to the beach; quiet; large TV; working air condition; little breakfast; communicated with hosts via translator

What could be improved: No room service until you ask specifically (they cleaned once per week after my request); no toilet paper; no soap; water pressure is weak; Wi-Fi is poor; breakfast from 09:00 only

  • Tonythecatman from Russia – 1 July 2023 (8/10)

More or less close to the beach, very inexpensive

What could be improved: No room cleaning

  • Fulton from United Kingdom – 9 August 2022 (8/10)

The restaurant waitress/ cook was very attentive . My room was clean . The air-conditioning was new very effective . The new television gave an insight into Turkish society . Modern channels . The bedroom though basic had a modern up to the minute feel. Contemporary furnishing .
Would l want to return to this hotel? In a word yes . Great location for buses , taxis , the beach promenade .

What could be improved: No plug in the wash hand basin made shaving and a quick refreshing somewhat tricky. More toilet paper required . A couple more hand towels . The owner/ manager did not want payment in Pounds Sterling .He gave several options . Happy with Turkish Lira .

  • Екатерина from Russia – 16 June 2022 (8/10)

Stayed there for one night. Everything was good except mosquitoes in the room

  • Cenk from Turkey – 3 June 2022 (8/10)

Clean spacious rooms. Good location. Value for money.

What could be improved: Bathroom should have shower cabin.
