You know what struck me first about Veranda Suites? It’s tucked away on this quiet residential street in Güzeloba, and I mean actually quiet – not the fake “peaceful oasis” kind of quiet you read about in hotel descriptions. When I pulled up to 2365 sokak, I honestly wasn’t sure I was in the right place because it looks more like someone’s stylish home than a hotel, which is exactly the point.

The thing about this place is that it doesn’t try to be everything to everyone, and that’s refreshing. There’s no star rating because, well, it doesn’t fit into those rigid categories – it’s more like staying at your design-savvy friend’s place if your friend happened to have impeccable taste and a knack for hospitality. The owner clearly put thought into every corner, from the way the light hits the common areas in the morning to the local artwork that actually means something (not just generic Mediterranean prints). I spent a good chunk of my first evening just wandering around, discovering little seating nooks and wondering how they managed to make every space feel both intimate and open. The suites themselves are generous – I mean, you can actually unpack and spread out, which is rarer than it should be these days.

Location-wise, you’re in this sweet spot where you feel like you’re living in a real Turkish neighborhood but you’re still close enough to everything that matters. The beach is a solid 10-minute walk (I timed it), and honestly, the route takes you past some great local spots that the resort crowds never see. There’s this little bakery about halfway there that does incredible börek in the mornings – the kind of place you stumble upon and then become slightly obsessed with. Getting to the old town is easy enough, though you’ll want to grab a taxi or rent a scooter because it’s a bit of a hike on foot. Parking was never an issue, which is saying something for this part of Antalya.

The 8.1 rating makes sense to me – it’s the kind of place that really clicks with people who appreciate character over cookie-cutter luxury, but it might not be everyone’s cup of tea. Service feels personal without being intrusive, and the staff actually knows the area well enough to give you real recommendations (not just the tourist trap stuff). I’ll be honest, there were a few small quirks – the wifi was a bit spotty in my room, and the shower pressure was just okay – but these felt like minor trade-offs for the overall experience. This isn’t the place if you need a massive pool scene or 24-hour room service, but if you want something authentic and well-crafted, with that boutique hotel charm that’s becoming harder to find, Veranda Suites delivers.

  Lovely place. Would have loved to stay for a longer period. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay if we ever go back. Just a short drive/ bus ride to the closest beach.

  From the moment I entered the hotel I was taken back by how clean and tidy the place was, reception staff were warm and friendly, but things got even better when I opened the door to the suite, the place was large and very modern, complimentary tea, coffee and bottled water, I will be returning in April due to having dental work carried out and I will be staying again and for longer this time, thank you to all the staff

  I like the staff, they are always super helpful, plus the hotel is not far from the airport, maybe a 15-20 minutes ride, the rooms are really nice and big, I have stayed 3 times already and I will stay every time I go to Antalya

  The property is stunning, beautiful and is a great place to relax by the pool, read a book. It’s a vacation spot for solo or couple or even family.

  What could be improved: The distance to town or other places is far. That’s the only thing but it’s good for resting. Get a room that has the pool view, the best ones.

  Was much better than expected actually. Really nice clean pool. We had the pool suite and room was very big and clean. Staff super friendly and AC in both bedroom and living room. Wifi was also fast. Lots of supermarkets within walking distance also
  
  What could be improved: The hotel breakfast was very lack luster. Cold, missing and pretty much the same everyday. We often ate around 9:30/10am so could be why. The location is a bit out of the way if you don't have a car. About 5 mins into the centre of Lara beach area but about a 30/40 min walk. We had a car so was very convenient.
