You know what? I was honestly skeptical when I first pulled up to Villa Candan Kaş – the address in Andifli neighborhood doesn’t scream “luxury getaway” when you’re looking at it on a map. But here’s the thing about Kaş that you only figure out after you’ve been there: the best spots are tucked away in these quiet residential pockets, and Villa Candan absolutely gets this right. The moment you step through their entrance, there’s this immediate sense of calm that hits you – partly because you’re suddenly surrounded by these gorgeous Mediterranean gardens, but also because the traffic noise from the main roads just… disappears. They’ve got this clever setup where the pool area is completely sheltered, so you get all the Turkish sun without any of the bustle from the town center below.

What really impressed me (and I mean this as someone who’s stayed in way too many “boutique” places that are all style, no substance) is how they’ve nailed the balance between feeling upscale and actually being comfortable. The rooms have this authentic Turkish villa vibe – think whitewashed walls and local textiles – without going overboard on the themed decor thing that can feel so forced. Actually, the best part might be the terraces. Each room has its own outdoor space, and depending on which one you get, you’re either looking out over the town toward the harbor or up into the Taurus Mountains. I stayed there in late September, which honestly might be the perfect time – still warm enough for the pool, but the summer crowds have cleared out so you can actually enjoy Kaş without fighting for a table at dinner.

The location is sort of genius when you think about it. You’re maybe a 10-minute walk down to the harbor area where all the restaurants and boat trips leave from, but you’re high enough up the hillside that you feel removed from it all. There’s decent parking too, which – trust me on this – matters a lot in Kaş where the old town streets are basically designed for donkeys, not rental cars. The staff runs things with this laid-back efficiency that feels very Turkish Riviera, and they actually know the area well enough to point you toward the less obvious swimming spots and hiking trails. I mean, sure, they’ll book you the standard boat trip to Kekova, but they’re also the kind of place that’ll tell you about the little beach near Çukurbağ Peninsula that the day-trippers never find. With a 9.4 rating, you’d expect Villa Candan to deliver, and it really does – just in a more understated way than you might anticipate from the photos online.

  Villa had alle voorzieningen je komt als gezin niks te.kort. Alles werkt naar behoren en omgeving is rust gevend om een heerlijk rustige vakantie te houden. Hou je van rust is dit de perfecte plek. De eigenaar Serdar is een zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame persoon die 24/7 klaar staat. Geweldig!! Ga zo door mijn complimenten.

  The Villa looks exactly like the photos and the pool is amazing as you can go for a swim whenever you feel like. Serdar responds very quickly to any messages and was a good host. We visited 2 pebble beaches and a sandy beach with beautiful blue seas. For the activities we went on a whole day jeep safari with a water fight (extremely fun), zip lining, horse riding and water rafting. On another day we took a ferry to the Greek island of Meis where we took a speed boat and visited the blue cave so managed to visit 2 countries in 1 week!
  
  What could be improved: Kas is quite a drive from the airport however the mountains and sea is exceptional. It’s such a beautiful place that almost looks like a picture.

  Nous avons été très bien accueilli d'es notre arrivée. Très sociale et respectueux. Nous avons passé une superbe semaine. La villa est très confortable l'emplacement super calme . Super pour pouvoir se retrouver en famille au calme. La villa n'est non loin de la plage et des commerces. Je recommande sans exception 😊.

  The Villa is very spacious and air conditioning in every room made it very comfortable. The pool is fantastic and exceptionally clean. Outdoor areas were clean and sufficient for barbequeing and eating outside. The whole property is maintained very well. The host Serdar is a friendly and professional person who is always ready to help where he can. He visited the property twice during our stay to fill up the pool and water the garden but he made sure that he was not intruding on our time.
  
  What could be improved: The kitchen appliances such as the kettle, microwave and all the crockery must be replaced with new items because they are a bit old and worn. The mattresses must be replaced as some had the springs inside starting to push through. The location of the villa is wonderful if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle however, you cannot walk into the town of Kaş as it is extremely hilly and quite a distance. So taxi rides will be required for any visits to the centre of the town and the surrounds. A taxi ride takes 10 minutes and costs 90 Turkish Lira.
