The villa has this lived-in quality that makes you feel like you’re staying at a friend’s place rather than some sterile hotel room. I mean, it’s got that 4-star polish – everything works, it’s clean, the bed’s actually comfortable – but there’s character here. The kind of place where you might find a book left behind by another guest and think “oh, I’ve been meaning to read this.” The 8.6 rating makes total sense once you’re there; it’s not trying to be perfect, just really, really good at being what it is.

The Andifli area itself is kind of brilliant if you’re planning to explore. You’re walking distance from the old town’s stone streets (though fair warning, it’s uphill on the way back if you’ve had a few glasses of wine with dinner), but you’re also positioned perfectly for day trips along the coast. I actually ended up chatting with neighbors a few times – there’s something about the residential vibe that makes people more relaxed and chatty. And here’s a detail that matters more than you’d think: parking isn’t a nightmare here like it can be closer to the marina. You know that stress of circling around narrow streets with your rental car, wondering if you’ll ever find a spot? Not an issue.

The mornings were my favorite part, honestly. There’s this quality of light that hits different when you’re slightly elevated from the water, and you can hear the town waking up without being right in the middle of it. I’d grab coffee and just sit outside, watching Kaş do its thing below. It’s the kind of place where you actually want to hang around the accommodation for a bit rather than just crash there at night. During peak season you’ll definitely want to book ahead – Villa Günbatımı seems to be one of those places that regulars come back to year after year, which tells you something right there.

  Nous n'avons pas eu de petit-déjeuner. La villa était bien située. Elle était à 10min du centre-ville en voiture.
  
  What could be improved: Il y avait un hôtel à côté et lorsque nous sortions pour aller dans la piscine nous étions assez visible.

  Het ruime huis gelegen op n rustige schitterende locatie met zwembad. Airco deed goed zijn werk .
  
  What could be improved: Dat de keuken zeer basic was ingericht, de badkamers naar riool roken. De banken in de woonkamer vol met vlekken zaten. Reparatie aan koelkast/vaatwasser zouden komen uitvoeren, maar niemand gezien.
  Zwembad is volgens ons niet schoongemaakt tijdens ons verblijf, voorlaatste dag werd het water bruinig.
  Dit klinkt allemaal vrij negatief. Desondanks hebben wij n heerlijke vakantie gehad.

  Der Pool war sehr sauber, hat eine gute Grösse, eine schöne Aussicht und eine angenehme Wassertemperatur (Mitte Juni).
