Villa Italic Suites Overview
Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first turned down 1302. Sokak – it’s one of those quiet residential streets in Antalya’s old town that you’d probably walk right past if you weren’t looking for it. Villa Italic Suites doesn’t announce itself with any flashy signage, which I actually loved. You know what struck me first? The building itself has this gorgeous Ottoman-era facade that’s been restored without losing its character. Most places around here either go full tourist kitsch or sterile modern, but somehow they nailed that sweet spot in between.
The thing about boutique places like this – and I mean truly boutique, not just small chain hotels calling themselves that – is they either get it completely right or they’re a disaster. Villa Italic definitely gets it. Each suite feels like someone’s incredibly stylish aunt designed it, if your aunt happened to have impeccable taste and a thing for Turkish antiques mixed with contemporary pieces. The rooms are spacious (rare for old town Antalya), and the beds are actually comfortable, not just pretty to look at. I stayed in what I think was their corner suite, and the bathroom had this amazing rainfall shower with traditional Turkish marble that probably cost more than my car. The little details matter here – proper coffee setup, bathrobes that don’t feel like sandpaper, and honestly the best hotel slippers I’ve ever encountered.
What really sets this place apart though is the location without the chaos. You’re literally a five-minute walk to Kaleiçi’s main attractions – the old harbor, Hadrian’s Gate, all those winding cobblestone streets tourists love – but 1302. Sokak stays surprisingly quiet even during peak summer season. I mean, you’ll hear some street sounds during the day (this is Turkey, after all), but nothing that kept me awake. The staff seems to actually live in Antalya, which sounds obvious but you’d be surprised how many hotel employees are just seasonal workers who know less about the city than you do. These folks gave me restaurant recommendations that weren’t in any guidebook, told me which hamam to visit and which to skip, even helped me figure out the dolmuş routes when I wanted to hit the beaches outside town. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle – the street’s narrow and there’s no dedicated hotel lot – but they’ll sort it out for you during check-in. Just don’t show up in some massive SUV expecting it to be simple. The whole experience feels more like staying at a sophisticated friend’s place than a typical hotel, which is exactly what you want from a place like this. It’s not cheap, but for what you get and where you are, it’s actually pretty reasonable for Antalya’s old town standards.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience overall. The location is excellent — very central and close to everything. The rooms were spacious and bright, and the furniture looked brand new. Everything was clean and well-maintained, which made our stay really enjoyable.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice, conveniently located place in the city
Other than that, it was a great stay!
What could be improved: However, there were a couple of downsides. The housekeeping wasn’t done daily, which was a bit disappointing. Also, the pillows and mattress were not very comfortable.Mathias from Switzerland – 18 May 2025 (9/10)
The receptionist was very polite.
What could be improved: The noise from outside was easily heard inside.Sara from Saudi Arabia – 16 May 2025 (8/10)

Perfect location with the most happening area nearby. Spic and span stay with all basic amenities for a budget stay.
What could be improved: Room sizes were a little smaller than expected. Also room cleaning wasn't done on any of the 3 days we stayed there.Elizaveta from Armenia – 21 April 2025 (8/10)
