Yeşilyurt otel Overview
You know what caught me off guard about Yeşilyurt Otel? It’s tucked away on this quiet side street in Antalya’s old quarter, and honestly, I almost walked past it twice before realizing this unassuming building was actually my hotel. The entrance is sort of understated – no flashy signs or doormen – which I guess makes sense since it’s one of those boutique places that doesn’t bother with official star ratings. Sometimes that’s a red flag, but here it actually works in their favor.
The whole place has this authentic Turkish charm that you just don’t get at the big chain hotels. I mean, the lobby smells like cardamom and old wood, and there’s this worn Persian rug that’s probably been there since the 1980s but somehow adds to the character rather than making it feel dated. The rooms are clean and comfortable – nothing fancy, but the beds are actually decent and the air conditioning works (crucial during Antalya’s brutal summer months). What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays at night, even though you’re just a few blocks from the bustling Kaleiçi district. The thick stone walls probably help with that.
The staff genuinely seems to care about making your stay work out, which is refreshing. They helped me figure out the local dolmuş routes to the beach – saved me a fortune on taxis – and the guy at reception actually drew me a little map showing the best spots for morning coffee nearby. Speaking of location, you’re basically a ten-minute walk from Hadrian’s Gate and all the tourist stuff, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with cruise ship crowds every time you step outside. There’s a little bakery around the corner that opens at 6 AM if you’re an early riser like me, and the smell of fresh simit drifting through the streets is honestly one of my favorite memories from the trip.
Look, this isn’t going to be the fanciest place you’ve ever stayed – the Wi-Fi can be spotty on the upper floors, and don’t expect a spa or room service. But if you want something authentic without breaking the bank, and you appreciate staying somewhere that feels more like a well-kept secret than a tourist factory, Yeşilyurt really delivers. The 7.8 rating makes perfect sense to me – it’s solid, comfortable, and has personality, just don’t expect luxury amenities. Perfect for travelers who want to actually experience Antalya rather than just pass through it.

Super location, nice and kind staff (English speaking), very basic room but clean and excellent value for money
What could be improved: Room sizeAnastasiya from Belarus – 13 May 2025 (9/10)
– great staff
– close to Muratpasa tram station (30 minutes to the airport via T1A)
– close to the old town
– good WiFi
– comfy beds
– clean
– close to good dining places (Sirinbaba, Huner)
What could be improved: – noisy, you can clearly hear the neighbors
– takes a while for hot water to flow, we still had it at room temperature
– air-conditioning doesn't have Sleep option, a little noisy at nightSteve from United Kingdom – 3 March 2025 (8/10)

Tereza from Czech Republic – 20 February 2025 (9/10)
For the price, the room is excellent for a solo traveller on budget. There is everything you need. The room is tidy, lockable, wifi works well, there is even climatization, the bed is comfy…I especially appreciate darkening curtains on the window so you can sleep well. I got a single room in 3rd floor and I was totally satisfied.

It's a budget room but clean and comfortable and in a good location not far from transport, restaurants, old town etc. But far enough away from loud streets.
What could be improved: It was fair for the price paid. Maybe could do with a lamp on the bedside table as main light switch near the door.Ruanna from India – 8 September 2024 (8/10)
1. The room was spacious enough
2. Everything was very clean and comfortable
3. Easy to locate, good location
4. Hosts were helpful with anything asked
5. Luggage storage
What could be improved: Everything was great, except on the last day we had a water problem. It was not subject to the hotel, it was a problem in the entire city. But at that time we were not provided with an alternative, and we had to check out, so it was a bit difficult as we could not wash even our fingers, let alone shower!!Huma from Ireland – 30 June 2024 (8/10)
Pleasant stay , good value for the cost , nice location if using public transport ,very central , staff are polite and helpful Anna at reception is always happy to help .practical place and convenient. Air conditioning works well which is Important in the heat , off the main road so quiet area but only few minutes walk to all the shops restruants and transport network
What could be improved: The shower in single room, is not very practical as it's to small and to close to toilet the water was not draining well , spreading around the small bathroom as there is no actual floor partition for the shower area So .used it only once but then opted to use the bathroom attached to the double room which I had also rented that shower was practical and much better so wasn't bothered by the single room shower over all however we enjoyed the stay , it's a nice place with good location at reasonable costs and nice staff .Maanajam from Germany – 17 June 2024 (9/10)
The location is very good, the place is great and clean, everything is great for the money paid. Just please pay attention to the Wifi as it often interrupts.
