Look, I’ll be straight with you about Zeynel Hotel – it’s one of those places that doesn’t try to be something it’s not, and honestly, that’s exactly what makes it work. Tucked away on 610. Sokak in Antalya, you’re not getting the flashy beachfront scene here, but you know what? Sometimes that’s a blessing. The neighborhood has this lived-in feel that most tourists never see, with actual Turkish families going about their daily routines and corner shops where the owners will remember your face after day two.

The hotel itself sits comfortably in that sweet spot between budget crash pad and trying-too-hard boutique property. Sure, it’s a 3-star place with a 7.6 rating, but those numbers don’t tell you about the little things that actually matter – like how the front desk guy (I think his name was Mehmet) genuinely cares about helping you figure out the dolmuş routes, or how the breakfast spread, while simple, includes this incredible local honey that I’m pretty sure they source from somewhere nearby. The rooms are clean and functional – nothing Instagram-worthy, but the AC works well (crucial during those sweltering Antalya summers), and the beds are surprisingly comfortable. I mean, I’ve stayed in supposedly fancier places where I barely slept. The bathroom tiles look like they were installed sometime in the early 2000s, but everything works and the water pressure is decent.

What really sold me on this place, though, is the location once you understand it. Yeah, you’re not stumbling out onto Konyaaltı Beach, but you’re actually better positioned to explore the real Antalya. The tram line isn’t far – maybe a 7-minute walk – which connects you to both the old town and the main tourist strips without the constant noise and chaos. Plus, there’s this fantastic little pide place just around the corner that locals pack into around lunchtime, and a grocery store that stays open late when you inevitably need water or snacks. The staff seems to genuinely know the area too, not just the typical tourist recommendations. When I mentioned wanting to find a good Turkish bath experience, they pointed me toward a hamam that wasn’t in any guidebook I’d seen. Honestly, for the price point and the authentic neighborhood vibe, Zeynel Hotel does exactly what a good mid-range place should do – it gives you a comfortable base without breaking the bank or isolating you in some tourist bubble. Just don’t expect luxury amenities or Instagram moments, because that’s not what this is about.

  Great location, less than 2 minutes from the beach. Plenty of restaurants within 3-5 mins walk including 3 just outside the hotel.
  Minimart also 50’yards away.
  Nice hotel, excellent value for money.

  Staff is very pleasant and eager to help with anything.

  I must say this is a great find! It is perfectly located right next to the beach. The beds are comfortable. The pillows are comfortable. The breakfast was great and has everything you need. The pool was also open and perfect size and water temperature. The staff was great. They were all very friendly and welcoming especially the man working evenings In the reception that spoke Spanish, Ilik I think his name was, And also the man making the coffee every morning at breakfast was super friendly and could teach me some basic words in Turkish. I really enjoyed my stay here and If I come back I will definitely stay here again. I highly recommend Zeynel hotel If you plan to visit Antalya and enjoy Konyaalti beach!
  
  What could be improved: The cleaning of the room could be a bit better, The bathroom could’ve been a bit more clean. But considering the overall experience and the price, I think this is just a minor thing not to be taken into consideration.

  Location is very good. Short walk to the beach. Many restaurants/bars nearby, also small shops and some supermarkets. I stayed around Eid holiday, the price was not that bad. Reception was nice, very friendly guys. Breakfast was very good, I like omelet and all the green leaf salad and all kinds of olives. Airco was good. Shower was strong.
  
  What could be improved: Cleaning lady came to clean my room around 3 pm most of the time. She did not brush/vacuum the floor. I could see some long hair (not mine) on the floor for my whole stay. Shower tube had a leaking spot at the connection of the tap and shower tube. I told the reception 3 times, they said someone would come to fix but never happened. So, I just gave up on the leaking shower tube (I could still shower). I stayed in a Triple room, it would be nicer if there would be more chairs in the room and chairs at the balcony (there was only 1 chair in my room).

  Very friendly, attentive, customer oriented staff. Ideal location of the hotel. Very comfortable room, has everything you need. Good working air conditioner in the room. Delicious coffee for breakfast.
