Adonis Hotel Overview
You know what caught me off guard about the Adonis Hotel? It’s actually positioned really well on that stretch of Eski Lara Yolu – I mean, you’re close enough to Old Lara Beach that you can walk there in about fifteen minutes, but far enough back that you don’t get all the chaos and crowds right at your doorstep. When I first pulled up, honestly, the exterior looked pretty standard for a four-star place in Muratpasa, but once you get inside, there’s this surprisingly relaxed vibe that a lot of the flashier resorts in the area just don’t have.
The thing about staying here is that you’re in this sweet spot where you can actually experience Antalya without being totally isolated in some resort bubble. There’s a little market just down the road where locals shop – not one of those tourist traps – and you’ll find yourself chatting with Turkish families who are genuinely curious about where you’re from. The hotel staff seems to get this too; they’re not pushy about keeping you on property, and they’ll give you real directions to places worth seeing. I remember the front desk guy (wish I could remember his name) drew me this little map to show me how to get to the old harbor area without dealing with all the tour bus traffic. The rooms are… well, they’re solid. Not Instagram-perfect, but comfortable in that lived-in way where you can actually relax. The air conditioning works properly – which, trust me, matters in July – and the beds are firm enough that you won’t wake up with a backache.
What really won me over, though, was how the place settles into this quiet rhythm in the evenings. You get the distant sound of the Mediterranean, maybe some music drifting over from the beachside restaurants, but it’s not overwhelming. The pool area stays busy until around sunset, then it gets peaceful enough that you can actually read a book without someone’s kids cannon-balling every five minutes. Is it perfect? Not really – the WiFi gets spotty on the upper floors, and breakfast could use more variety if you’re staying longer than a few days. But there’s something honest about the Adonis that I appreciated. It doesn’t try to be something it’s not, and in a town where half the hotels are trying to out-luxury each other, that’s actually pretty refreshing. Plus, at a 7.8 rating, you’re getting exactly what you’d expect – a solid, comfortable base for exploring Antalya without breaking the bank or feeling like you’re missing out on the real Turkey.

Reviews of Adonis Hotel
Colleen from United Kingdom – 21 April 2025 (9/10)
The decor was grand and the spacious easy access to the pool and fantastic private sun bathing area. The pool room was good enough, should have both tables running and also there were no boards games as advertised ?? Free sauna, steam room and indoor pool excellent
Good idea for the snacks from 11am
Good idea for the lift to the private sunbathing area brilliant the step/ slope to the lift needs some grip tape on the floor for health and safety reasons also in the games room near the pool table need hazard tape because you trip up the small ledge and bang your toes
What could be improved: The food got a bit same after 2 weeks I loved the wrapped vine leaves but they were only on once?Cregan from United Kingdom – 13 April 2025 (7/10)
Nice hotel. Lovely location. Food was just ok but would still go back as location and staff where fab
Sabrina from China – 28 August 2024 (9/10)
The location was great. The facilities were clean. The staff was very friendly. The room exactly like on the picture. The food was amazing, always various choices of meats and veggies. The porch to access the sea was great, always available sunbeds, it was clean and peaceful – spent my entire holiday there. I celebrated my birthday during my stay at Adonis, I got a fruit platter and a card from the hotel, it was very sweet and thoughtful!
What could be improved: Lack of activities at night. Air con didn’t work in the hallways between rooms and it didn’t always work at the reception lobby either.Saad from United Kingdom – 5 August 2024 (7/10)
Good buffet but not amazing, quite standard and does cater for most people, not fussy eaters
What could be improved: WiFi is not free, that was an inconvenienceDimitar from Bulgaria – 30 July 2024 (9/10)
Everything was good
What could be improved: They should include Wi-Fi in the price of the room and not charge extra. For an all-inclusive hotel, it’s kinda strangePaulina from Lithuania – 10 July 2024 (9/10)
Near sea, a lot of food, ours check out 12pm but the staff allowed us to eat lunch and dinner. Very nice place to sea and mountains view.
Pitkänen from Finland – 15 June 2024 (8/10)
It was a peaceful and relaxing stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. Good value for money.
What could be improved: It's old hotel but clean.Claire from United Kingdom – 27 May 2024 (9/10)
Very clean and bright, rooms clean and modern. Staff brilliant, especially Ali who's generally found behind the pool bar.. Everyone had a smile after seeing him each day! (ask for the Ali special cocktail).. Made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much to ask for, very attentive and friendly staff in all areas. Security at the gate and entrance so felt very safe. Great choice of food each day, almost too much choice.. Definitely would go back!
What could be improved: Lack of free WiFi, had to pay for room and all areas bar the lobby. TV choices not great but for all you're in the room it's not a big deal.Brian from United Kingdom – 22 May 2024 (9/10)
Everything was good, nice clean room, friendly staff, food was good considering they cater for different nationality customers,
What could be improved: NothingDumitru from Czech Republic – 11 August 2023 (9/10)
Great food and room service. . All in all I recommend it as a good value for money and a nice way to have an all-inclusive resort experience.
What could be improved: Internet is a problem there. It is only available in the lobby if you want to have WiFi anywhere else you need to pay a daily fee of 3 USD. The staff is trying to be nice and helpful but you can tell they are a bit overworked
