Look, I’ve stayed at a lot of places in Antalya’s old town, but this little gem on 1297 Sokak absolutely knocked my socks off. The name’s a mouthful – “Antalya kaleiçi merkez muhteşem teras keyfi” – but honestly, that “muhteşem teras” (magnificent terrace) part isn’t just marketing fluff. When you step out onto that rooftop space, you’re looking out over the maze of Kaleiçi’s red-tiled roofs with glimpses of the Mediterranean beyond, and I mean… it’s the kind of view that makes you forget to check your phone for hours.

The location is actually perfect if you know the area – you’re tucked away on a quiet side street so you don’t get the tourist crowds that swarm around Hadrian’s Gate, but you’re literally a three-minute walk from all the action. I could hear the call to prayer from Kesik Minare in the mornings (which I found oddly soothing), and there’s this little bakery around the corner where locals grab their morning simit – you know you’ve found a good spot when the neighborhood feels real, not like a tourist theme park. The narrow cobblestone streets can be tricky with luggage (fair warning), but once you’re settled in, everything feels intimate and authentic in a way the bigger hotels just can’t match.

What really got to me though was how the place manages to feel both historic and comfortable. You’re staying in a beautifully restored Ottoman house – the stonework and arched doorways are gorgeous – but they’ve clearly thought about modern travelers too. The rooms stay cool even in August heat (and trust me, Antalya summers are no joke), and I actually slept well despite being someone who usually struggles with new places. The terrace becomes magical in the evenings when the light turns golden and you can see families gathering on other rooftops for dinner. I spent way too many hours up there with a book and some Turkish tea, watching the boats in the old harbor below. The staff clearly knows their stuff about the neighborhood too – they pointed me toward this incredible little restaurant down by the harbor that I never would have found otherwise, where I had the best grilled octopus of my life. Honestly, for a 4-star place, it punches way above its weight, and that perfect rating makes total sense once you’ve experienced it.

  Гостевой дом называется OSI Pansiyon – это четырехэтажный дом с апартаментами, мы жили на 4м этаже.
  Квартира очень понравилась – уникальная и самобытная.
  Декор выше всех похвал – его можно разглядывать бесконечно и каждый раз находить что-то новое, и видно, что многие элементы сделаны своими руками с любовью. Покорил рабочий виниловый проигрывать и самодельные человечки-электроники 🙂

  Панорамные окна и шикарная большая терраса, было приятно там завтракать и проводить вечера!
  По оснащенности квартиры: есть буквально все необходимое – два кондиционера, вся техника и посуда, стиральная машина, фен и прочее. Довольно чисто.
  Расположение удачное – два шага до старого города, но при этом тихий и спокойный квартал, вокруг много магазинов и кафе.
  Отдельная благодарность владельцу апартаментов – пошел навстречу нашей просьбе о раннем выселении.
  
  What could be improved: От проживания остались только лучшие воспоминания, большое спасибо вам!
  Единственный момент – вечером немного не хватало освещения.
