I stumbled across Bloomtalya Hotel completely by accident while wandering through the Kızıltoprak neighborhood, and honestly, it’s one of those happy discoveries that makes you feel like you’ve got some secret insider knowledge. The place sits tucked away on this quiet side street – 902. Sk. if you’re trying to find it – and from the outside, you’d almost walk right past it thinking it’s just another residential building. But step inside and there’s this immediate sense that someone actually put thought into creating something different here, not just another cookie-cutter hotel experience.

The thing about boutique places like this is they either nail the vibe completely or they try too hard and end up feeling pretentious. Bloomtalya gets it right – there’s character in every corner without that overwrought “look how unique we are” energy that makes you roll your eyes. The rooms have this lived-in comfort that you don’t get at the big chain places, and I mean that in the best way possible. You can tell they’ve chosen each piece of furniture and every little detail deliberately, but it doesn’t feel like a museum where you’re afraid to touch anything. The staff actually seems to give a damn too, which… well, anyone who’s traveled knows that’s not always a given, even at places charging twice as much.

What really sold me on this place though is how it sits in the neighborhood. Kızıltoprak isn’t where most tourists end up – it’s got this residential feel where you’ll see locals going about their daily routines, kids playing in the small parks, that sort of thing. You’re still close enough to get to Antalya’s main attractions without much hassle, but when you come back in the evening, you’re not fighting through crowds of tour groups or dealing with the noise that comes with staying right in the thick of everything. There’s a little café about two blocks away where the owner makes this incredible Turkish coffee (I never caught his name, but he’s got this gray mustache and will talk your ear off about football if you let him), and honestly, those kinds of random encounters are what make a trip memorable. The 8.3 rating makes sense to me – it’s not trying to be the Ritz, but for what it is, they’ve really nailed the execution. If you’re the type who’d rather stay somewhere with personality than somewhere that just ticks all the standard hotel boxes, this is your spot.

  What could be improved: On the smaller side, nor really big enough for 3 people especially the bathroom. It was quite a noisy hotel woth other guests. This hotel was quite out of the way from the main centre but well located for anyone staying nearby for the hospital and surgery.

  Clean, quiet and comfortable, besides that the owner is very decent and kind man, he offered to give us a lift to the airport when the taxi was delayed.. I highly recommend this hotel
