Gızlıkoyhotel Overview
Look, I’ve stayed at plenty of places along the Turkish coast, but Gızlıkoyhotel caught me off guard in the best way possible. Tucked away on this quiet side street in Beldibi – and I mean really tucked away, you might walk past it twice before spotting the entrance – it’s one of those places that doesn’t fit into the usual hotel categories. They don’t have an official star rating, which honestly makes perfect sense once you get there. It’s more like staying at someone’s really well-designed home than a traditional hotel, you know? The whole vibe is boutique without being pretentious about it.
What really got me was how thoughtfully everything was put together. The owner clearly spent time thinking about what travelers actually need versus what hotels think they need. My room had this perfect reading nook by the window where you could watch the neighborhood come alive in the mornings – old Turkish men heading to the tea house around the corner, kids walking to school. The bathroom had one of those rainfall showers that actually works properly (trust me, this isn’t always a given), and honestly, the bed was so comfortable I overslept two days in a row. The whole place has this calm, residential feel that’s hard to find when you’re staying right in the tourist zones of Antalya proper.
I mean, let’s be real – a 7.9 rating tells you it’s solid without being flawless, and that’s exactly right. The WiFi was a bit spotty in the evenings when everyone was online, and if you’re someone who needs a big hotel lobby scene, this probably isn’t your place. But if you want to feel like you’re actually experiencing a Turkish neighborhood instead of just visiting one, this works beautifully. Beldibi itself is this sweet spot between the crazy energy of central Antalya and the resort bubble of Kemer – you can walk to proper local restaurants where the menu isn’t translated into six languages, but you’re still close enough to hit the major sights without much hassle. The family running the place gave me better restaurant recommendations than any guidebook I’ve read, and when I had trouble figuring out the local bus system, they just drew me a little map with the exact stops marked. Those are the details that stick with you long after you’ve forgotten about thread counts and marble bathrooms, you know what I mean?

Peaceful, friendly staff. Good resting garden, pool is also good.
What could be improved: The hotel is divided into two part, not a big problem, but from photos you do not see it. Room is good for sleep, but bathroom is empty.Eunika from Slovakia – 5 June 2023 (8/10)
We loved the views, the atmosphere and cats. 🙂 Staff was also attentive.
What could be improved: Bathroom could use a renovation, it was a bit difficult to not have water everywhere. Amenities would be also nice.
