I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to MOON OLD TOWN on that narrow street in Kışla, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The address (39. Sokak No 6) doesn’t exactly scream “boutique hotel,” but that’s actually part of its charm. You’re tucked away in this residential pocket of old Antalya where you can hear the call to prayer drifting over from nearby mosques in the morning, mixed with the clatter of tea glasses from the corner kahvehane.

What really got me was how the place manages to feel both intimate and polished – it’s got that 4-star comfort level without the sterile lobby nonsense you get at bigger chains. The staff actually remembers your name after day one, which honestly surprised me. And you know what? The 8.8 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there a few days. The rooms aren’t huge, but they’re thoughtfully laid out with these little touches that show someone cared – decent lighting for reading, enough outlets that actually work, and bathrooms where you don’t have to do gymnastics to shower. The bed situation is solid too, though if you’re a light sleeper, maybe mention it when booking since the street can get a bit lively during weekend evenings.

Location-wise, this is where MOON OLD TOWN really shines. You’re maybe a 10-minute walk from Kaleiçi’s main tourist drag, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with tour groups at 7 AM. There’s this little bakery two blocks down where locals grab their morning simit – I mean, you could walk to the fancy breakfast spots in the old town, but why would you when you can get warm bread and Turkish tea for basically nothing? The harbor area is an easy stroll when you want that postcard view, and honestly, being slightly removed from the action means you can actually sleep at night. Parking can be tricky in this neighborhood (most streets are pretty narrow), but the hotel staff knows the area and can point you toward spots that won’t get you a ticket. I’d say if you’re the type who wants to feel like you’re staying in a real Turkish neighborhood rather than a tourist bubble, this place hits that sweet spot perfectly.

  Great apartment with everything you need and more we really enjoyed our time there
  
  What could be improved: Comfortable , great location , mesh at every window so you can allow fresh air in all day without the unwanted bugs following. Washing machine so no need to go home with a case full of dirty clothes. Internet great we were happy with everything

  Big living room, modern apartment. Good value for money.
  
  Could do with a microwave and toaster though. Cleanliness could improve. Nowhere to leave your luggage safely if you have a late departure flight.

  Had a great stay in this large quiet apartment. Very close to Old Town tourist sires without being in Old Town. Excellent pastry shop and doner shop 3 mins walk away. Tram close by as well as local markets, shops and restaurant. Highly recommend.

  Nice spacious place ,close to centrum and old town
  Nice space in apartment,some improovment could be done.I suggest to ovner to place a bottle of drinking water.It was missing as we came in the middle night

  Very reasonably priced and secure apartment with easy access free parking and an elevator to access the third floor apartment. Washing machine had soap for laundry and easy walk into old town.
  
  What could be improved: The apartment smelled of cigarette smoke and was not very clean and there was no water to drink.

  Very nice and clean apartment in a great location. The place is quite spacious and the beds in the bedrooms were super comfortable. Just a few minutes walk to the beach and close to the buzzing old town.
  
  The communication was great, we received all the information and updates needed, and the check-in was very easy.
  
  Would go back if I had the chance. My friend and I had a lovely stay.
  
  What could be improved: The place was lovely, but it could do with a better shower and certain kitchen appliances.

  The space was bigger than expected and the location is fantastic. They gave us 6 shampoos of 35ml which was nice and soap was provided too. There were 2 towels per person and a hair dryer which was a bonus. The washing machine functioned perfectly with the powder provided. The shower pressure was good. There were a lot of utensils in the kitchen. The oven and hob work well. We were given tea and coffee packets for breakfast. The beds were comfortable and they brought us an extra one too (which was a lot less comfortable). Slippers were provided. There is a TV with YouTube, but you have to sign into your own Disney+ or Netflix account.
  
  What could be improved: They do not have a microwave which is a bummer. Initially, we got given 2 toilet rolls for the bathroom for 7 night stay. We did request for more and got 2 more rolls. It was a bit annoying having to constantly ask for more when it could have been stored under the sink for our use. The wifi is awful. I had to constantly use my data which ended up running out sooner due to the poor wifi quality. It worked decently well in the living room, but that's it. The fridge was really cold where the milk turned to slush.
