You know what struck me first about this place? The name literally means “perfect location, spacious apartment” in Turkish, and honestly – they’re not overselling it. I’ve stayed in probably dozens of places around Antalya over the years, and finding something this roomy on 526th Street is actually pretty rare. Most of the apartments in this neighborhood are these cramped little boxes, but when you walk into this second-floor unit, there’s this immediate sense of breathing room that you just don’t expect.

The Duru Apartmanı building itself is one of those solid, no-nonsense Turkish residential blocks – nothing fancy from the outside, but that’s exactly why I liked it. You’re living like locals do, not in some touristy bubble. The street is quiet enough that you’ll actually sleep well (trust me, noise can be brutal in central Antalya), but you’re still close enough to everything that matters. I mean, you can walk to the old town in about fifteen minutes if you know the shortcuts, and there’s this little bakery two blocks down that does the most incredible simit in the mornings – the kind of place you’d never find if you were staying in the hotel district.

What really gets me is how they’ve managed to nail the practical stuff that most places completely mess up. The apartment actually feels like someone lives there, not like it was decorated by committee with generic furniture. The kitchen has proper counter space (you’d be amazed how many rentals skimp on this), and the bathroom has decent water pressure, which… well, if you’ve traveled much in Turkey, you know that’s not always a given. The whole place gets great natural light too, especially in the afternoons when that Turkish sun really starts doing its thing. And parking – God, the parking situation in Antalya can make you want to cry, but this street is actually manageable. You might have to circle once or twice during busy periods, but it’s nothing like the chaos closer to the marina.

I’ll be straight with you though – this isn’t the kind of place where someone’s going to bring you fresh towels every day or where there’s a concierge to solve your problems. But that 10 rating it’s got? That makes sense when you consider what you’re actually getting. It’s space, it’s comfort, it’s that rare thing where the photos online actually match reality. Plus, and this might sound weird, but there’s something satisfying about staying somewhere that feels genuinely Turkish rather than internationally generic. The neighbors are friendly in that reserved way locals are when they see you’re not going to be loud or obnoxious, and you get this authentic slice of how people actually live in Antalya, not just where they vacation.

  Мы отлично провели время в квартире Кана. Хорошее расположение, близко до пляжа, до магазинов, до ресторанов. Во дворе детская площадка – это большое плюс для семейных. Остановка транспорта рядом, рынок по средам 5 минут пешком. Утром просыпались с петухами и козами), рядом частный дом с фермой.
