Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Sare Suites Downtown – the address on 325 Sokak sounds pretty residential, and well, it sort of is. But that’s actually what makes this place work so well. You’re tucked into the Bayındır neighborhood where real Antalya life happens, which means you’ll hear the morning call to prayer from the nearby mosque (it’s lovely, not jarring) and smell fresh simit from the bakery down the street when you step outside.

The suites themselves are surprisingly spacious – I mean, you’re getting actual room to spread out, not those cramped hotel boxes where your suitcase becomes a permanent floor fixture. The kitchenette isn’t just for show either; there’s a proper refrigerator and everything you need if you want to grab groceries from the Migros just a few blocks away. What really got me though was how quiet it stays at night. You’d think being in the city center would mean traffic noise, but 325 Sokak is just off the main thoroughfares enough that you actually sleep well. The air conditioning works properly too – crucial during those sweltering July and August weeks when Antalya turns into an oven.

Location-wise, you’re maybe a 15-minute walk to Kaleiçi (the old town), but here’s the thing locals know – take the dolmuş from the stop near the Bayındır mosque and you’ll get there in five minutes for pocket change. The hotel staff actually told me about this, which says something about how they operate. They’re not trying to upsell you on expensive transfers or tourist traps. Speaking of staff, check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no lengthy presentations about spa packages or breakfast upgrades, just genuine helpfulness. The woman at reception drew me a little map showing where to find the best pide place nearby (it’s fantastic, by the way). Sure, the lobby isn’t Instagram-worthy marble and chandeliers, but it’s clean and functional, and honestly, how much time are you spending in hotel lobbies anyway? The 8.6 rating makes perfect sense when you realize this place delivers exactly what it promises without the pretense. If you want Ottoman palace vibes, look elsewhere. If you want a solid base for exploring Antalya that doesn’t drain your budget and actually feels connected to the real city, Sare Suites gets it right.

  Good location – near a supermarket, you can walk to the beach. There is an elevator. Everything you need is in the room – a dishwasher, a washing machine and everything for washing, 2 air conditioners, an equipped kitchen. The room itself is quite large, there are panoramic windows.

  We have stayed in a standard apartment on the 4th floor. It looks exactly like the photos. We found everything that was needed. The living room was bright, and the heating /aircon worked well. Actually, we didn't have to use it too much, it was warm enough in the apartment.
  They call it a large double bed ( it's queen size) with plenty of space for a comfortable sleep. We found the mattress comfortable.
  The area is quiet. As others mentioned before there is a farmers market just around the corner on Tuesdays and we found a huge one near the hospital (I can't remember if it was Thursday or Friday) Wonderful fresh vegetables, fruits, cheese, raw milk etc.
  Konyaalti beach is about half an hour comfortable walk away.
  There are bus stops nearby. The tram stops 15 minutes walk away.
  You can take the tram from the airport and walk 15 minutes to the hotel if you don't have too much luggage.
  If you decide to take the bus to the hotel you need to walk out of the airport to a bus stop. (we did that) We have to ask several people to find it though.
  Taxi should be around 600 Lyra to the hotel.

  Nice property. There was a couple of seating areas where one could sit outside (backyard and roof). The basics were provided for and good experience. WIFI was great.
  
  What could be improved: A little far from downtown with the bus that is serves the property not frequent enough or on schedule. Furniture is outdated and old. Tiles are chipped. Reception was helpful but difficult to communicate since they didn't speak English. but very nice people. They should probably provide a pamphlet with all the relevant info (eg. different ways to get downtown, grocery stores, recommended restaurants in the neighborhood.

  Good apartments, a lot of shops and places neaby, the only drawback is 40 min walk to the beach.

  What could be improved: Shower room could do with a do over, shower cabin doors were a little broken, shower head seemed very outdated and also broken, but besides theese few things everything else was spot on.
