The neighborhood strikes an excellent balance between vibrant local culture and tranquility.

The suites — and they really are suites, not just regular rooms with fancy names — give you space to breathe. Mine had a separate sitting area that actually made sense, not just a chair shoved in a corner. The kitchenette was surprisingly functional too, which came in handy for keeping drinks cold and storing those Turkish pastries I couldn’t resist buying.
