You know what struck me first about Verde Mare? It’s tucked away on this quiet side street in Şirinyalı – honestly, I almost walked past it because the entrance is pretty understated. But that’s actually part of its charm. While everyone’s fighting for beachfront spots along the main drag, this place sits just far enough back that you get some peace without sacrificing convenience.

The thing about staying here is you’re really in a proper neighborhood, not some tourist bubble. There’s this little bakery two blocks down where locals grab their morning simit, and the corner market guy – I swear he knows everyone who walks by. The hotel itself feels more like a well-run apartment building than your typical tourist spot, which I mean in the best way possible. The lobby’s simple but clean, and the staff actually remembers your name after day two. My room was nothing fancy – think IKEA meets Mediterranean – but everything worked, the AC was blissfully quiet, and the shower had proper water pressure (you’d be surprised how rare that can be around here).

What really sells this place, though, is the location once you understand Antalya a bit. You’re maybe a 15-minute walk to Konyaaltı Beach, but more importantly, you can actually get around without dealing with the absolute chaos of the old town traffic. The tram stop is close enough that getting to Kaleiçi or the marina doesn’t require planning your whole day around transportation. And honestly? The 8.4 rating makes perfect sense once you’ve stayed a few nights. It’s not trying to be the Ritz – the breakfast is basic, there’s no pool, and the elevator sounds like it’s having an existential crisis – but for a solid 3-star spot where you can actually sleep at night and explore during the day, it delivers. The price point is fair for what you get, especially if you’re the type who spends most of your time out and about anyway. Just don’t expect them to hold your hand with tourist information – this is more of a “figure it out yourself” kind of place, which honestly I found refreshing after dealing with overly eager hotel staff elsewhere.

  Very clean. Everything looked brand new.
  It would of been better maybe with a toaster and microwave.
  Would of been nice half way through the week we stayed to have clean towels and clean sheets on the bed.
  A welcome pack maybe with a cloth . Tea towel. A air freshner as drains snell occasionally. But apart from that lovely place.

  Self catering accommodation with a good size kitchenette and spacious sitting area with a comfy sofa. Good size bedroom with a mirror and shelves to keep your belongins. A spacious cupboard in the hall with a space for your footwear as well. Good shower. A washing machine was very helpful. A big fridge,dishwasher, gas stove ,many cupboards. A table with two chairs to have a meal comfortably. Aircon was working well.
  Good location in a quiet area,close to shops public transport and the clinic I had been attending.
  
  What could be improved: The apartment was not soundproof. We had a phone call from a friend and probably spoke loudly but it was not late but the neighbours complained about the noise. In the kitchen we could do with the smaller size pot for the morning porridge. Ours was very big size just for 2 people. We had just 3 hangers in the bedroom, could be more. My luggage was lost so it didn't matter for me but in normal situation it would not be enough.

  Nice and clean apartment with new furniture, great location close to the seaside, restaurants and shopping center, quiet street, I really enjoyed my stay and would like to come again.
  
  What could be improved: There were not pots at the kitchen so no possibly to boil eggs or something and no accessories to make tourkish coffee.
